Looks like still being held back by a seller imo. They look to have had this order a while. Why not announce it before? Regards RRJ
I looked for jobs a couple of days ago but couldn't see anything but America is a big place. regards RRJ

A while ago I posted the following (see below 1st Oct 2015). I have had another look and someone that I said was not on the share in issue list is NOW back on the list. WSC Richards OBE had 3.3%. It did look at the time that they had dropped below the 3% mark because they were not on the list. Could have been perhaps getting rid of their shares. THEY ARE NOW BACK ON THE LIST but as Clive Richards OBE at 3.3%. I presume they are the same! I guess someone made an error. SO... not as many shares I believe IMO are being got rid of. Is this seller nearly finished. Airbus news perhaps not that far away. PLUS also this 'Nonetheless, the Company has continued to make encouraging progress with its long terms plans to diversify the customer base, both geographically and by sector, and potentially significant customer trials are advancing well.' from Pre-close trading update. DYOR regards RRJ From the 1st Oct 2015:- as reported here http://www.hardide.com/investor-relations/share-price/ there looks to be roughly 50,000 more shares in issue since 28th Feb 2015. I took a screen shot back then. I can see that Hargreave Hale AIM VCT have dropped from 6.6% to 4.4%. I can see that WSC Richards OBE was 3.3% and now not on the list. By my calcs 2.2 % is very roughly 30 million shares Lets say the 3.3% is being got rid of then that's roughly 44 million shares I am sure you can think about the what ifs behind those amount of shares. regards RRJ DYOR

By asking a fellow engineer in our R+D department the spring 2015 issue 32 of valveuser magazine by BVAA has landed on my desk. On the second to last page shows members names. Out of the 189 listed Hardide is one of them. Did they get a mention in the magazine? After a quick scan through of the articles I didn't see Hardide mentioned but what I did see was a full page advert on page 92 of 100 telling me that they had installed a third large reactor in UK in response to growing demand. It told me about the Seatronics remotely operated vehicle and how they had improved it. What this had to do with valves I don't know. hard-chrome replacement got a mention. Hardide's unique combination of features got a mention i.e chemical resistant whilst being ductile etc. Near half page picture of the reactor being loaded. regards RRJ

from here you can see the Annual reports - http://www.hardide.com/investor-relations/public-documents/ From the 2012 'section 3 investments' - as of 30th September 2012 Hardide Aerospace coatings ltd WAS NOT there. From the 2013 'section 3 investments' - as of (it says 30th September 2012 but perhaps that is a mistake and should say 30th September 2013) Hardide Aerospace Coatings Limited IS THERE. regards RRJ
From what I have quickly found on the internet so may not be trust worthy it says that Hardide Aerospace coatings ltd was registered on 10/7/2013. There is Hardide PLC and Hardide coatings ltd. There may be a RNS about this or included in a RNS. DYOR regards RRJ
Is this a new company? I have no knowledge of how a company comes into being or how one is spawned from a company (internal to the main company). If I see something XXXX ltd then I presume that is a company. So.... 'Stewart Gibson has been appointed to the newly-created position of Business Development Manager, Hardide Aerospace Coatings Ltd, with effect from 1 July 2015. ' where has Hardide Aerospace Coatings Ltd come from???? regards RRJ
Low demand due to low oil price in second half. no bumper year then. nothing much said on aerospace although it got a mention as a word. regards RRJ
We may not get an April update on trading like the past 2 years! From the AGM statement. Half year results are expected to be published in late May when the Group will provide a further update on trading." regards RRJ
From News (25th Nov 2014) Preliminary results for the year ended 30 September 2014 Sales of Hardide-D have been strong. This product is the new coating for TSP (thermally stable polycrystalline) diamonds that the Group developed last year to extend the life and improve the performance of drilling tools operating in extremely abrasive environments. The minimum volumes in the supply agreement with Cutting & Wear Resistant Developments Limited were exceeded and their exclusivity remains in place. The news from 29th April 2013 is worth reading again in the light of this. Titled 'Re Agreement' The exclusivity in the agreement is dependent on yearly minimum volumes being purchased by Cutting & Wear over the five-year period. The agreement includes the establishment of new manufacturing facilities at Hardide's plant in Bicester, Oxfordshire where production scale quantities have already been produced and sold. Philip Kirkham, CEO of Hardide plc said: "This is a major step forward in coating technology and hardfacing materials. This is also a potentially game-changing breakthrough for Hardide as we will be the only producer of this type of advanced superabrasive coating. We believe the market opportunities to be extensive as the need for hardfaced tools intensifies as the oil and gas industry explores in ever more remote and challenging areas with deeper and more demanding drilling conditions. We also see opportunities for this new coating extending into mining, construction and other extractive industries."
How significant is this? I have no idea. Any information welcome. regards RRJ
nikylauda - I think you have just beat me too it http://www.hardide.com/new-diamond-technology-to-tackle-drilling-costs/ This might be the reason for the bit of buying this morning. Sounds good but I guess it's in the early stages. All I can think about is the vast amount of testing by companies. dyor regards RRJ
