vigneron i hope you don't mind me asking but please state where you found the information stateing that Hardide will be designed into future (Airbus) planes. I think tests have been performed but as far as I know it has not been used on any aeroplane apart from the typhone. Please correct me if I am wrong. I feel that the share price will take off if it is used on aeroplanes, especially airbus planes. TIA RRJ
Good find Lionel.
SSSHHHHHHH....... Is everybody too scared to say anything about this nice move north in case they may jinx it??? Normally there is a raft of 'can't have many shares them mm!' 'this is going to fly' Best regards RRJ onwards and upwards.....
http://www.hardide.com/hardide-directors.htm They have had the photographer in.
Philip kirkham AND Andrew Boyce have been added to the list of Board of directors on the Hardide website. I was wondering why Andrew had not been added and put it down to his family connection having 26.5% of the group's issued share capital. Perhaps just an over sight? Anyway, they are there now. Had the priveledge of going to see some wings being manufactured at Airbus near Chester. It was not a technical look round unfortunately but they are making alot of wings. They have a forward order book of 20 ish years. So that's 20ish years of aeroplanes. I hope Hardide have carried out some testing with Airbus! I hope they can get Hardide coated on alot of their parts! Best regards RRJ
New CEO, Philip Kirkham started on 3rd September 2012. No pretty pictures on the website yet if anyone is listening (Hardide)! Best regards RRJ
I think people are now thinking more that Hardide does what it says on the tin so to speak and they like it. more customers and more applications for existing customers. They must be able to see the benefits. Again though, how much down to re-stocking? very suprised by getting this bit of news. perhaps it was by such big amount they had to inform us. i don't know. Wonder how Houston is progressing? We know someome is out there on a project. see my earlier post. Info has been removed from linkedin! more importantly how is aerospace doing and tests with supplier to aerospace industry? as always dyor regards RRJ
LOL RobR, that early!
Well I turned 500 quid (t20) from the last dip into 560 ish. that's my 105000 ish sell. It will buy me a tank of diesel for my holidays. Musn't grumble. That by the way is my first profit on Hardide. Still waiting for the 3p mark to break even. best regards RRJ

Below describes Tier One suppliers. RobR-Rolls Royce is one of a few. http://www.imap.com/imap/media/resources/Aerospace_8_1FED752787A1E.pdf
After watching the documentory on Sunday night about stripping down a 747 and putting it back together again I can now see why Hardide have to do all the testing. Also I can see how important it is that Hardide get into the aerospace industry. Hardide say that there are more opportunities than expected application wise "Airbus test programme delivers encouraging results with indications of a wider range of aerospace applications for Hardide beyond merely as a replacement for hard chrome ". They are in testing with an aerospace supplier. "In addition, we have begun the coating and testing of parts for a Tier One supplier to an aircraft manufacturer as well as for several other turbine blade and aircraft engine applications." I'm more than happy to hold. Comments taken from 1,Preliminary Results 11-1-12 2 Half year report 11-6-12 DYOR
I am puzzled about the recent trades that are really very small. Could anyone tell me why someone would buy/sell 3 pounds worth of Hardide. I see no point in it. My only thoery could beis that it is code to someone or a body of people to say sell or buy. This is only my mind working overtime. I sit and wait here in the hope that one morning there is news that Hardide are supplying at huge amounts to the aerospace industry. Other than that without any news I can only see the share plodding along or even downwards. Even news on the website has dried up. Time will tell. Regards RRJ
Looks like the information in the the link to linkedin (post 25th May 2012) has been ammended to provide less information! Oh the stocking issue. How much more work did they gain due to re-stocking? The aerospace testing by a tier one supplier I like. 'In addition, we have begun the coating and testing of parts for a Tier One supplier to an aircraft manufacturer as well as for several other turbine blade and aircraft engine applications.' If my mate had considerably more sweets than my 10 then I would like to think he had at least 14 or 15. loads more would be 16 or 17. nearly double would be 18 or 19. comfortably - If I was to receive the work load coming through the door at the rate at present, then it's going to be a cracking year. RRJ
"...the Group expects to report half year revenue that will be considerably above the same period last year..." and "...due to which the board now believes it will comfortably exceed market expectations for the full year..." Excerpts from the latest trading Update. Joy to my eyes. Considerably and comfortably. I like :-) regards RRJ

Is it long-suffering or staying power or perseverance? I watch this share too much. BUT I hope one day it will be worth the wait. Musn't wish time away! RRJ
