We are waiting for news on a rig contract but once done it should be just down to logistics of getting it to site then spud. Qtr3 is my expectation for that but I think the ready start immediately refers to the "The two-week well-testing programme on the Ntorya-2 well ("NT-2"), designed to provide additional information required for the design of in-field processing facilities" re the gas and condensate take-off equipment etc.

It is possible we will hear more about the rig at the AGM on the 27th, I'm looking forward to attending. So many exciting questions come to mind.

My thoughts are about the fact they place an estimate in place risk volume of condensate at 55.2 MMbbls and that is worth mega money! Texas a couple of years ago was around $66 per barrel and if that is genuine potential, who needs gas ;0)

I make no wild statements about how it is going to Madimba. The only clue I have about that is from a past conversation that it could be sold at well head. How it is transported and where it will go I haven't the foggiest and I suggest nobody else but the company does at present, if they even do themselves.

Remember the purpose of the testing due to begin at Ntorya 2

These tests will clearly dictate the type any take-off facility that Crusty mentions

Condensate and NGLs (Natural Gas Liquids) are pretty much the same.

I think after reading this, perhaps people will see that given the above 55.2 MMbbls estimated, the amount and value of what they have here should be very much on people lips alongside the quantities of gas.

I think oil is down there somewhere too, but what I do know is condensate is definitely down there in large extremely valuable quantities and imo not enough is spoke about it.

IMO that description is also a hit piece full of negative connotations and no mention of the current extremely positive situation, which is the same message that you have constantly conveyed on here for the last seven years or so.

Crusty that is exactly what I feel the position is. I don't think there will be any imminent announcement of a rig contract. I know it's peeing on my own chips but the NT2 testing has been stated in the past will be done this summer, so I expect that to be first on the agenda which might very well have a date announced before the AGM and as you say, having reviewed how long the CPR took last time (4/5 months), I revise my view as it began beginning of February it could well also come just prior to the AGM.

I think that meeting will reveal a lot about the future plans and the presentation will be of massive interest. Additionally, judging by the room size last, year they may have to consider a larger room or change of venue. I'm certainly looking forward to this one.
