Personally I speculate spud will take place a this year but after first gas. I believe they are waiting for a specific rig currently in a neighbouring country which is planned to be spudded around August time

Meanwhile neighbouring Orca continue with 3D seismic over Aminex prospect with their results due later this year helping to define Aminex position further on the license. Speculating that would put Orca in prime position for a farm in, but if significant finds are made, it may tempt ARA to come in on that license as well as Ruvuma.

I think we can agree on the term disappointments, we have had a few, but I view much of that is down to DM being long on excitement and trying too hard with words to please investors. I saw baming xhalo2 as a massive error alliwing thise in the know in and around Invictus to build us up and make a killing on the market knowing full well what their plans were. Total naivety, but he has gone now

History Wyndrum? Its had one failed drill and a rig fail to materialise because the previous hirer decided to keep it for another year.

In this high risk business, I think it needs some perspective and tbh I would hardly be referring to it as history.

As for the rest, well sure, there will be de-risking done along the way, but many like me will have averaged down and de-risking takes place on all drills.

Top and bottom is those that invested for hopefully big gains, still know the value of a successful drill and will still want a slice if it.

Its been clear for a couple of months that to hit target dates mobilisation would take place by end of June. Too many have been fretting, is it? isn't it? for weeks now. I said back when we knew where the drill was, I would not concern myself until the end of June, but even then I won't because its going to happen anyway, with or with a delay.

I'm in for the drill as an investor, not here to pee about for the odd 5% I can grab. You could lose 20% in the blink of an eye while making yourself a coffee if not careful.

Crusty, I am not claiming anything, I am merely pointing out the official line of expected things to happen this year.

I agree we have been let down in the past for a list of reasons, but the past is the past and people invest for the future, not the past.

I may not be entirely convinced by timelines or that every single thing will be ticked off this year, but if it annoys the indian on our backs by countering his obvious nonsense, then I'll keep posting it.

Note Tanesco and Dangote Cement which sits just a few minutes north of NT & NT2 on the same road, highlighted in orange the same as the pipeline.

This may or may not be the pipeline being built for AEX but it indicates very close proximity to where it is likely to be built.
