RE: Weardale Lithium £1billion valuation, MAC has 8%, that's £80m for Mac10 Feb 2026 09:16
I constantly vent my spleen because, as is the norm with AIM shams, the CEOs lie all the time. Repeated RNSs stating ‘material uplift due to…’ this and that, only nothing ever comes. I’m loaded in here and only need to hit 3p for a significant profit but boy it’s taking an age to see any progress or even activity. Don’t forget we were told in the last August final results that one of MAC’s investments had gone bust and another was in serious trouble. That’s the skill level of the CEO and his team. We just have to hope they get lucky with Weardale but the longer the silence goes on there the more I think Stewart Dickson’s heart isn’t really in it for the long haul. How, after a Govt Grant and local council approval giving you the go ahead for a demonstration plant, an in light of the UKGovt’s critical minerals strategy document, AND the price of lithium carbonate almost doubling in under a year, he still can’t find any partners or organise ANY external funding seems poor, not to say astonishingly lacking in business acumen. Oh, that’s something he supposedly has in buckets with his time in the City. Maybe he’s not in the City any longer for a reason…
Anyway, and the wait for news goes on whilst we see Cornish Lithium and Northern Lithium tar great strides towards production. At Weardale meanwhile….stick the kettle on please.
