Pleased to hear DV referring frequently to 'shareholders' and 'the interests of shareholders' in the video. This is very different to SC's approach and uplifting.

With respect, my approach is to focus on Solgold matters only here. Fellow posters have been overwhelmingly decent and respectful over the years and I would like to retain this decorum. A good (and respectful) debate is always worth having and is usually a learning experience.

DV said in the presentation that early production at TAM would be great. The Company always has to leave (potential) suitors and large shareholders such as JCC, BHP, NMM in no doubt at all that it will go it alone in any event and take Cascabel to production. With G Mining, funding and TAM, it's doing that really well in my view. Keeping all options open. One of the those options is starting production at TAM,another is a buyout of some/all of the company. DV has to be sure third parties are in no doubt at all that there won't be a pushover and I think he's doing that. Of course, his fellow director, NM walks the walk in seeing off majors looking to take our assets for a song.

Anything could be lurking in those nominee accounts, Quady. This sort of scenario could be in place already in some way. We just don't know.

We all have a life story and opinion. Concerning the latter, opinions can be wrong and this is often only known with hindsight. Opinions and facts are often different things and, of course, it is much easier to judge rather than think. Time will tell what will happen here. DV is covering all the scenarios well. He and the team are dynamic, to-the-point and clear. Hopeful of more news from the Company this week.

Production much more plausible via TAM but the 'diverse book' thesis falls apart based on various scenarios which we've covered here before. I recall sketching one featuring a (theoretical) 50/50 offer by BHP/NMM. Wasn't hard to see how they could make an offer highly likely to be successful from a foundation of owning over 20% of the business already. Doubtless other scenarios would fit too. That said, nobody knows - here at least. Time will tell.

Agree, Smick. Very good start by DV and more news expected soon. Still plenty to be done but very good start.

We might be going to production at TAM or we might be sold before then. Doubtful if we will be block cavers further down the road. DV is progressing the company well and leaving all options open - including production or a sale of the lot. Sensible fellow. Well done DV.

This was a very strong performance by Dan Vujcic. He came across as credible, measured, and pragmatic. His background in banking shows and he speaks the language of investors, financiers, and shareholders fluently.

This interview likely reinforced the market’s belief that:

1.SolGold is turning a corner,

2.Execution risk is being tackled head-on,

3.The door is ajar for strategic suitors, and

4.There’s real, latent value yet to be unlocked.

Has anyone spoken with CB or someone else from the company lately?

My opinion of NM is that he did an outstanding job for small shareholders back in late 2020/early 2021 and ensured that the Company was not sold for a song. Bravo NM!

Two points, Add,

1. We are still miles short of the business' NAV (I agree with Stas20/Needagain 164p number) so there's loads of room for IIs still.

2. Due to the oddness of corporate life/management, it becomes easier for suitors to offer for some/all of the company as the price rises despite the fact that the underlying assets are essentially the same. I have referred to the point before that company executives are spending OPM and are motivated to keep their jobs/CVs rather than getting the best deal they can (by striking sooner when it is cheaper).

All the while, DV and team are focused on driving Solgold forward - whatever outsiders are doing. I believe this has created a virtuous circle for long term small shareholders like us and I once again commend DV for bringing leadership to the Company.

It's a good business that is going places, I think. Funders are happy to back Solgold with their precious cash and we have an increasingly dynamic CEO and Board. Other than these facts, it's exciting to watch this Company grow. And grow it will continue to do in my view. The world needs these resources and Ecuador needs to press on and develop itself into the mining centre it aims to be. Clear as clear can be that Solgold is moving forward and moving forward rapidly. Bravo DV!
