My interpretation from the interview was the Oxford consortium are leading the world in this development...its good interview with insight in number of areas - the chap interviews very well

Are there shares left over from last years placing? There seems to be some heavy selling into strength and that usually has offload written all over it. Don't expect it to be forward selling as it's over a relatively long period of time but I assume when that's done it will rise consistently as there is a good level of demand at the moment.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if the 2.5m is actually a buy from earlier in the day but just printed later as there were a load on offer at 3.24...some of which I bought...may be just a coincidence but it did shoot up quickly from that point despite some consistent selling early on.

Anything over 3.2 is a buy....I know this as one of them is mine...also there is a clear pattern there as well.

It's funny people look at the negative....form is (but not exlcusive) to put a raise witn a good/great news story that potentially needs capital (as GS has said - to enhance the business equal to or greater than the sum raised)....therefore it would be counterintuitive to sell now...but I would think that's pretty obvious...to buy on the day is to take the risk but it all adds to the same rise.

Fair enough but it won't make a difference here anyway since if he does he always plays them together so if there's no placing then we know it's good to go on it's own. Makes no difference in deciding if to buy now I would say. Just how high it might go after...

I'm aware of that, and aired my disappointment to GS about his tactics of cutting any good news rise off at the knees but he has form here. Hopefully not and if it is it's done with good reason. Seems like someone has a few to sell much cheaper than the others tis all....

You do sound a cross between a prepper and the character Charlie Frost from 2012....don't think we are quite there but we are in bizarre times certainly. As I suggested a week ago money will migrate to companies that can exploit the current circumstances and Ocado has proven to be one of those in the past few days. Done rather well and if they can adapt to the change in demand over the next 12 weeks (going on BoJo's timetable) then they will further their business plan.

The driver here is the same - it can't all be liquid and people are looking outside the box when searching for places to park their cash. As I said before if we can offer a credible haven for some of it at least, this is the time to go alternative. There literally is no better time to offer a context of mortality backed longevity settlements audited and legitimised by one of the big accountancy firms when the whole crisis is about life risk to ordinary people.

I can honestly see demand being far in excess of the $100m if the proper groundwork is in place. Literally $trillions are being moved around the markets at the moment and it can't all stay in cash.

I've not seen volcanic eruptions in the middle of Bristol just yet so I hold out hope that whilst its certainly new to me it's not the seismic event you are perhaps alluding to.

That may be true but only so far as ALGW itself being an equity. It's business however is not as it is looking to create LS backed bonds that offers a defensive option with the potential of healthy returns. The issue here is have we gone far enough with our business building to take advantage of this situation or not. If we have then our business model will shine in this mess and our stock will rise. We are not an airline, hospitality business or bricks and mortar retail (all business that suffer in this climate). We are more like Ocado if anything which is at breaking point with the demand on its business....hence it's recent stock rally which is likely to continue so long as they can accommodate the unprecedented demand being put on it. This is why we need to know if we are in a position to take advantage with out offering which is becoming ever more noticed and relevant or falling what feels like 3 days short of the line with nothing to offer....this is the frustration.

Recent events have left me pondering if Alpha are in a position to exploit the volatility and reach for safe havens. If we have a credible offering ready to go I would imagine a situation akin to Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy in the Wall Street scenes of Trading Places...one can hope but this could be the catalyst that brings the undecided off the fence. We will see.

I have, standard message but assuring that everything is on track and that are expediting as quickly as possible whilst working as hard as possible. Most interesting and frankly stating the obvious is the self fulfilling prophecy part and that is most likely would be the short term cause of the demise. So yes, people in volume shouting off can affect the situation which borders on shameful. If it fails through market forces fine but a run on the bank style failure would be a great shame.
