I'm assuming the value is unofficially based upon the shares that will be in issue at RMS next week which will be circa 1.3bn which makes the MCAP of RMS at around £28m which makes our stake £10.5m. .

That is what I was told when I spoke to them a while ago. Conversations have been going on a while but suffice to say any other parties will want to see the goods first. We are still waiting on data from Carl so I suspect they are working on how much further they can refine the sensitivity and speed beyond the basic knowledge the concept works. Carl is a data man.

Looks like a volunteer in the Brazilian AZ trial has died...not sure of cause but suffice to say a tragedy on a number of levels.

There's warrants at 40p, can't see tb diluting his 25% holding that much or without good reason so suspect that's not on the cards for now.

Prof Van Tam said this evening he thinks there may have been a 'breakthrough' in rapid testing....curious.

The March date could well be improved as what was noticeable on the reasons given for the timing was regulatory approval. This could surely be put into the fast track program i would have thought.

The merits of this concept do need to be pushed now though. Carl has set out his stall with what it can do and what it can potentially do so it needs to be made aware to various parties. I think calls need to be made to Viv at BRH to understand what is being done to spread the word. I suspect he can divulge some info about this, if not specifics on contracts etc

If they can suitably IP the tech and technique then this test is and will be the gold standard going forward and the royalties will be Paraytecs. Simple really as it future proofs organisations from future issues.

Carl is analysing the data at the moment, the release in Friday was not from him whereas the milestone releases have been so I expect one from him shortly to detail the specifics. They know its good but will want to present hard data when shouting about it. I expect those who need to know now have a pretty good idea however.

Going on Carl's tweet this evening I get the impression there will be additional releases in the near term filling in the detail as they analyse the information...sensitivity data then tie ups etc. So it could be a news rich few weeks with that and P2F info coming through.

There are £650k worth of warrants at 40p that have come into play which will probably satisfy near term cash needs so unless much more is required I would imagine some of those might be exercised soon.

If we don't get dragged back down by heavy selling into the close then I would cautiously suggest its game on...the RSI 14 day has cooled nicely and those who wanted out around 40p could have already done so.

I don't think there is a leak...not in TB's interest to let everyone out as I don't think apart from the listed interests (phasefocus aside) there are many other large players here. Having spoken to Viv before he was very careful not to give anything away apart from JV and licence discussions were ongoing but was very tight lipped about who they were and possible outcome. They want to make sure the science stands up to scrutiny but they also know the significance of what they may have. Was wandering if DC was reducing their stake as a precaution and to hedge their bets but no TR1 yet.

Just to remember for every penny drop TB's stake drops by £85k or thereabouts and he can't sell right now so he as more to lose than anyone but more in a position to steer it across the line than any other holder

Carl has responded to a question asking if the test will be able to differentiate what stage of infection a subject is at with 'we hope so'....not a certainty but simply suggesting it is an aspiration based upon the info they will have so far is compelling and ambitious I would suggest. Suspect they need conformational data but it sounds like the potential is there. Not sure if any other test can even suggest to the potential for this??

What people may not appreciate from the release is the technology can be applied to air filters. This essentially means they can be applied to HVAC filters in air handling units when applied to filter membrane made by AAF, Camfil & Jason filtration. Although I'm not in HVAC I work in an industry that uses some of these products and have already been asked to undertake COVID risk assessments on large areas such as swimming pools and if this tech can easily be applied to these filters then forget masks as the bread winner.

I'm not a scientist by any means...have spent quite a bit of time in labs recently though. If the test can be proven in around 90 seconds over 5 to 90 min it transforms what it can offer the user over a longer lead time unit. Paraytec has always pegged their test in the mass transit and populous areas and for that it has to be quick, easy and effective time and time again. I liken it to the swab machines they have at airports to scan for explosives and drugs, they work in seconds and are cheap to operate by someone who is not a trained specialist. Additionally, as with the drug machines the paraytec machine should be able to scan for any viral load that its configured for so it has huge long term appeal for other nasties that come our way. Its the sort of solution that removes the testing issues of the past 6 months for the next, different pandemic. If it works of course.

The date may be to allow someone to serve their 14day quarantine...is TB based in Switzerland? Speculation yes but the wording is logistical so it could be due to movement restrictions.

Too far behind for the slow tests yes but right where we need to be for the next gen ones. The tech has been in development since last year ironically with AZ, GSK and Fuji. Its just being adapted to this need and qit appears to be cutting edge in its field.
