Afternoon all.
If ever a takeover should occur, how likely is it that shareholders would have any choice but to sell? If I recall correctly, Dalradian Resources plc shareholders (Curraghinalt gold project) had no choice...........except of course some of their BoD!

Another good reason to have averaged down! If it happened right now, I could happily take 50p, but there is greater value in this project to be had for PIs and the BoD in the future.............always depending upon how much future each of us thinks we have! LoL! IMO the likelihood of a takeover of any sort is low until Cononish is up and running. Then who knows........not me!

Evening all.
Just back from a holiday in Weymouth and caught up with a weeks posts. Interesting to read all your different views and investment strategies. Mine is I'm leaving the house to the kids and no money or shares. Will spend it and enjoy it, including a little help to the grand-kids.
You only live once and I'm running short of time. Investing in a few selected shares is a focus of geo-interests and hopefully a better rate of return (by SP will do, probably too old for dividends, ha, ha!) than in the bank. Plus you get to converse and meet some interesting folk.
Yayay, talking of age, it's September, so I reckon it's your birthday about now, so Happy Birthday when it comes!

Belated welcome to CP52 and good to hear from you again RM.

I see the minor dilution and debt to fast-track to Phase 2 production as worth it at current gold prices and to catch up some of past delays without having to wait for phase 1 funds generation.

The new geochemical method has added useful support to eastern splays of the Cononish vein outside the JORC area that were known/suspected in some drilling and sections as long ago as the December 2009 Quarterly Report. Sorry no link as it seems to have dropped off the reports archive!

I note your interest in the activity at Inverchorachan, that surprised me as being outside the main focus of the Prospectivity Report and when there are so many targets in the Glen Orchy and Auch Estate areas known from public data. However, historical data indicates that the Tyndrum Fault running along much of Glen Fyne is known to be mineralized from the Loch up to Tom an Biorch (over 10km) and a few years ago I was able to see this at a small quarry about 1km SW of Merk Park. The recent survey area in fig 3 of the latest report is virtually on the Tyndrum Fault, as is the SE margin of the anomaly area in figs 4 and 5. The values are promising and historical data shows a chip sample of 247g/t in the survey area, but all the others were far less encouraging! That the anomaly appears to extend up the watershed away from the fault on the NW margin perhaps suggests westward trending vein splay(s) or mineralization of the Loch Tay limestone that outcrops on that trend, diverging from the fault at Inverchorachan to parallel it, 1-2km away down to the Loch. All educated speculation on my part. The new work promised in September will be interesting. I must get up there at the next available mine visit and have a chat with Scotgold's geologists.........arthritis permitting! LoL!

No need to apologize to BBB, as I previously said in New Year 2020 would be likely and would do. Who will be nearest? Me or Baz for March? The comments have all been made today. Delays are never good and result in re-jigging. As always in mining, 2 steps forward and one back. At least extra funding is sorted and we build up straight to phase 2. We'll get there.

Looks like the proposed Tyrone mine may have learned belatedly from Scotgold (who they have visited) and perhaps from the re-starting Omagh mine of Galantas. They have finally dropped plans for an on-site cyanide process plant that has been met with huge opposition and will now send concentrate to process elsewhere, but the PR damage may already have been done.

SXX finding money market chaos thanks to Brexit and the clown in the US it seems, but IMO it'll get fixed in time. It has done 28p to 6p to 50p before and have traded profit a couple times, so it owes me nowt. Maybe a wee top up and patience over again.

Hopefully we'll get an SG tweet when the gear lands or arrives.
