Indeed, Yayay, I am known to a few here and a few are known to me, but whatever disagreements might arise, I would never divulge another's identity and it is against LSE rules AIUI.
Baz, you have transgressed in this way before in an OTT bid to have the last word. You may be right that in reporting your post I may have inadvertently drawn LSE's attention to it's content and contributed to the outcome, perhaps an error in retrospect.

Samson, thank you for your well-put views that I agree with. We have finally become a junior miner and now have to become a good one! RG is hoping to get up to full production over 3 months. We shall see, as my experience in mining (and likely yours in commissioning) shows that it's always 2 steps forward and one back. Targets are fine within the company, but are less so in the public domain where progress and achievement will be key to confidence. I have always considered this a valuable prospect and a worthy project and look forward to visiting the mine again perhaps next year.

As you say, the UK markets and media are pre-occupied with what we have lost, about to lose and likely to lose, so absence of SG news starts drift, unless news of further progress and achievements arrive. The only positive focus for media now is Xmas! Hope for the best (BBC documentary, production build-up and exploration update) and eye up the worst to check on the back of your sofa!

I do agree that our expectations were perhaps ahead of reality and the hoped for splash was a wee plop, but at least for once, SG achieved it's stated target of plant ready and gold poured on St Andrews day.

To correct your recall, the SP at the time of BPT only got to the EQ of ~105p, so at 115p, you could say that we are an once (of gold) ahead!

Gravelguy, that video is worth a listen. You're right the mine has grown considerably since I visited in 2016 and 2017, though as mines go it is quite small. I've worked for a mine with around 4000 employees and over in my back yard, Anglo are building a mine for up to 20Mt/y:

There's many who feel the same and it would seem that we have not attracted the attention of the market and perhaps this long-trumpeted event was already 'priced-in' as they say. That said, SGZ has historically not attracted many rapid rises and falls and there is much news still to come, BBC documentary, exploration results to come towards the next mine and ramping up to phase 1 target production to become cash generative. It is likely that the latter will attract more attention as there's nowt like money to make folks sit up and the prospects are all here:

You may have missed out on a quick buck, but there is IMO more than one to be made further down the road. Some on this BB have been in over 10 years awaiting the first gold pour, I have bought in and sold out for profit three times and in on round 4! I think you'll see a return before long and as you are only 10mins down the road, you'll be better placed to keep an eye on your investment than most here.
