RE: End of any news till the spring I guess20 Dec 2020 15:09
Afternoon all.
What's with all these doctors and nurses in GP practices? We have receptionists doing the triage, nurse practitioners doing appointments and if you are lucky, GPs will phone you and decide on that to ask you to send a photo of your complaint or refer you to hospital!
At least Bozo has finally delivered on his promise to 'level up' the North with the South and it hasn't cost the Treasury a penny. Just time the 'swamp' Tier 4 to give enough time for a lurch of London lemmings to desert in untold thousands, to the capital's motorway exits, train and bus stations, thereby levelling up the covid-variant infection levels in the rest of the UK. No-one thought to tell the Met or the transport police (not that they are setting up road-blocks) and the lemmings are still creeping out shouting, "Dominic, our hero!" After wishing us a brief and small Xmas, no doubt on the next review date of 30th December, he will be wishing the whole of England a Happy New Tier 4!!!
On the bright side, the 'swamp-rats' will on Monday, likely send the FTSE down, given a great excuse to massage trading and bonus rates before Xmas, but when the FTSE goes down, most times SGZ SP goes up it seems! Also the PoG, having last week just missed £1400/g by 2p, would seem highly likely to go above £1400. Charlie, our geo. can likely shelter from field-work and beaver away on the outstanding ion-leach data, perhaps from home to contribute to the next exploration update. Don't know what the other two are doing, but presumably pitching into the same effort or Cononish development mapping.
Too much rubbish posted again. An after-lunch sunny Sunday sojourn around the village brightened the brain, but as you will have guessed, failed to dispel the alliteration and intoxication of red wine. Anyway, it seemed a shame not to finish the bottle!
Cheers to all, R.
