GG, if you were able to view all the posts removed from this board in the last 10 years, you would be appalled. ADVFN seems to still tolerate it, though I don't view it. This board has become largely civilized in recent years.

I got an email from Sheila Fleet today saying that they hope to receive more Scottish gold in the summer. Here's hoping that they do and then BBC Scotland/OU can film a 4th episode for the documentary series om Cononish starting 9pm Sunday. The email mentioned the documentary and said it will be on other channels too (Freeview Channel 108, Sky 115, Freestart 106, Virgin Media 108 and possible ‘plus one’ channels.).

Just caught up with today's posts. Had a look at SG on Twitter and thought I'd tuned in to Eastenders. Our incoming CEO could pass for a long lost, younger Mitchell brother! Surely he'll shake things up? Roll on All Fools Day!
GG sounds like he's from near my one-time neck of the woods, but jellied eels sounds like a 'hammers man.' I'm more 'hotspur' and rock and chips.
Talking of things fishy, I quite like Queen Nippy as she comes over strongly for Scotland, but then I don't have to put up with her! Perhaps those of you north of the border could loan her out to the N of England as we seem voiceless, marooned in no-mans land between Scotland and the Westminster bubble!

This morning's posts have been an interesting read as they seem to progress from shock/horror to analysis of the positives/the only way is up and even woolly jumpers picking up cheap shares!

Changes for CS and RG would I think have happened anyway fairly soon, but have certainly been hastened by events since last November. I found them both quite genuine guys, but there are no prizes for not delivering on indicated expectations.

We now only have 'onwards and upwards' and will still be FIRST among potential UK mining projects/prospects. Two steps forward and one back as ever. Now where's the dust pan and brush?

So many projects in prospect, but regulatory constraints and finance issues mean that few will make it to production and currently Scotgold stands to be the FIRST! All the others are currently works in progress, delayed or fallen by the wayside. I have previously voiced on this board the failure (IMO) over decades of the UK to sustainably exploit it's natural resources in sympathy with the environment. The UK has instead invested in overseas projects to import resources cheaply from developing countries and export to them the environmental consequences. Following Brexit and increasingly risky globalization, the UK needs to consider strategic supplies and develop more secure home resources. Such a lead needs to come from HMG as the money markets care nothing for the well-being of UKplc beyond their own pockets. Committed visionaries, such as NLR at SG are thin on the ground. I would also include CF, former CEO of SXX, whose project floundered on financing (along with PIs money!), but he and the project proceed again under AAL. Rant over and shutting up.

One third of adults have been OFFERED their 1st jab, but in some parts, you try booking one less than 50 miles away, even if you are eligible. I've been trying for a week for the missus and only yesterday got a booking in two weeks from today, 15 miles away. Locally 20% of care workers are reported as not yet been inoculated. It's all in the wording! How many have actually HAD it may be rather different!
I see on TV news that the Libor imprisoned are after having their convictions declared 'unsafe.' Have sales of whitewash gone up in the swamp?

Samson, funny I don't recall seeing 'slabs' of ore in the stockpile processed by the BPT. The largely quartz vein rock broke largely as random, angular shapes, though in the adit, slabs of largely silicate vein margin and layered host rock could be seen. Crow-bars needed on duty! Scraper duty to free sticky clay (my one-time t-shirt) much more arduous! LoL!
Yayay, our slight blue recovery must give some heart to the prospect of a new harmonium for Miss. Wemyss.
