More importantly if this was ‘material’ news then it was rather wasted by not issuing an RNS.
The only way the market would react favourably was if a RNS was issued.
Actually I don’t think it was material news and certainly don’t believe it was responsible for Friday’s late pricing strength.
That bounce was long overdue and had been brewing for a few days as technicals improved (MAs, pivot points etc).
Some might also argue it will continue as shorts start to cover?

If it was massive financial deal for THG they would be forced to release an RNS (publicly available to all).
As he didn’t it can’t be.

Clearly the premium for that that would need to be substantial - 150p take out?
If it’s just a whale account that would depend on the value to THG?
If we get nothing (which is sadly the most likely given MM’s reliability) then we go no here anytime soon?

The sum of the parts is worth considerably more than the whole.
The discount of the whole is because of the MM market perceived risk.
Exit MM = Higher valuation

I bought shares in the company not MM.
I believe he will be ‘exited’ by the activist shareholder or be forced to begin to respect his shareholders.
I understand the risk I took but bought back at a low price appreciating all the risks.
Many aren’t so fortunate.

I might agree with you if I were an employee, family or friend but sadly I am investor.
He has treated his ordinary investors (and institutional investors) with enormous disrespect since the floatation with his management and behaviour.
Maybe that’s why he is ridiculed by the Media?
