A coalition of midsize U.S. banks, Mid-Size Bank Coalition of America (MBCA), asked regulators to extend FDIC insurance to all deposits for the next two years, Bloomberg News reported on Saturday citing an MBCA letter to regulators.

Like most long I was expecting the shorts to close into the April results but the reverse is happening.

At this point no RNS means no share price support.
Even an RNS confirming the Results date would at least do something positive.
Sadly social media does nothing for the share price.
Clearly a UBS/CS will help the whole market it only provides THG will a short term respite.
We need real positive news to initiate a reversal.

At last triple witching THG was trading lower than today so with THG there was a greater incentive of banking a profit and selling.
