Sidara don’t need to wait for accounts to be published to make a confirmed offer.

Fortunately its mostly banks that own the debt - Its not the usual bond holders.

So the banks would much rather a ‘take over’ deal than taking control of the company themselves if possible.

It’s better for them too.

So both shareholders and debt-holders will prefer a deal on this occasion.

Its not being delisted just removed from the index calculations.

“Further to the notice released on 30 May 2025 the following companies have been suspended 40 business days without indication of resumption. In accordance with the Suspension of Dealing rule, they will be removed from the FTSE Russell indexes for the open of 02 July 2025 at nominal value (0.0001).”

No, I have been checking X since yesterday’s announcement but nothing like that just links to the published news.

This is absolutely NOT material at this point.

The debt issues are huge and that’s why we needed the Sidara bid.

The BOD have already told shareholders that.

Yesterday’s news will likely have made the likelihood of WG being able to sort the debt issues alone even more costly for shareholders and possibly impossible?

Recent Contract wins wont help solve the debt issues.

WG need Sidara and their cash.

I am hoping Sidara stay with us but its possible they will change the terms of the proposal with the Board and Takeover panel approval.

1. Reduce the offer price?

2. Remove the requirement for published final 2024 accounts?

Having done either or both of the above amendments will they make a firm offer now or ask for another extension?

Frankly anything is possible.

Certainly no point asking for an extension if the hurdle is the FCA Investigation.

I believe they will now make a firm offer at 35p which will now be quickly excepted by both the BOD and shareholders.

Confident.

We are all just guessing.

Will now decide everything going forward.

There definitely will be an RNS or 2 so lets just hope for the best.
