Is this anything at all to do with vodafone?, Everything is down with me the last few days, surely this is not Vodafone's fault the whole markets are suffering

Sidi perfectly said my friend, nothing against dan, but do think he needs a reality check, as everyone is entitled to give their opinion here negative or positive

Dan as Mole says, Roll on trading update 23rd to give something tangible to discuss, its understandable it's down at the moment as inflation fears and virus is holding markets back, but can understand some of us being a bit fed up with this one, as its been down in the red for so long, its no good saying if you don't like it sell up, personally I would like to sell up, but not at a big loss, and I suspect sidi feels the same, at least we do cheer it on when the sp is rising, think you was a bit mean to sidi tonight though

Morbox Totally agree with you on all that, Thankfully i have a low average here of 229 so feel chilled out about this one, wish others were the same, still would be nice to see it around the 300 thought, even though I'm not selling, but will top up if it goes down low

sidi, maybe she will sing louder tomorrow, not much movement with anything right now, think my portfolio would be in a better place now, if I stuck to funds and investment trusts, not sure if anyone else feels the same ??, trouble is I need to get all the shares back to profit before doing anything about it, plan is to just keep about 3 good dividend payers, and minimise my shares, just too much hassle, they go up then something happens and its all taken away from you, and takes years to recover.

Cheapshares, hope your right mate, lots of different views on here, that's all fine by me, my vod shares are showing red -30.5% loss, and if that starts reducing and turns blue, i will be happy, let's hope this is a better week and the next report can give this a boost

Well this has gone backwards since the last results, but will be delighted if you're right about the next one, so let's hope 23 july does better then, it's about time something good happened here, long overdue, especially if the dividend is secured

Oldsid I know what you mean mate, i retire next year at 66 i have some high dividend shares which i will need for income legal & general, mng, Vodafone and tesco, but i also need growth, which im hoping to get from smt and lloyds, also have some funds which help to stabilise my portfolio, I'm not a very experienced invester, but i would say don't put all your eggs in the same basket

Oldsid, think you must have bought in here at around the same time as me, my average is 1,206.85p, so already in profit, all my shares took a right old battering yesterday, just hold on there and give it a chance mate, as newbies here we can have a moan together if it doesn't work out, past performance has been very good here, so I can understand the older investors here being a bit defensive, but future performance is all that matters to us, think it's well worth giving this a chance and see how it plays out, but dyor there

Good evening Amigos, well not such a bad day , managed to recoup some of the losses from yesterday, even managed to make a small profit from yesterdays top-up, every little helps, lets hope for a better result next week
