Hi Paul, you better go and buy some more, you shouldn't be putting all your eggs in one basket, joking of course, you do have a lot, I already have lgen, mng, vod, lloyds and saga, and all the ones on my watchlist are ones you already have, also have 11 funds and investment trusts, but my intention is to sell some of them and increase my dividend stocks, for the purpose of topping up my upcoming state pension, but things are so unsettled at the moment with inflation/interest rates/Russia and upcoming exdiv dates it's a case of watching and waiting at the moment.

Hi paul, so what else have you got on your watchlist, i'm hoping to get into aviva and dlg at some point, probably after exdiv dates, with the hope of using dividends to top up pension, so will be trying to get in at best price i can

Thanks fleccy, They are all in profit with me, and have been good for me helping to steady the ship, and have been doing better than some shares, but I am slowly reducing the number of funds I have and increasing some of my dividend stocks, as and when I can get in on a good price, as I think more dividends will be the best thing for retirement, would be good to have a few more opinions on funds v shares from you guys if you don't mind, I'm sure some of you here have both

Hi Mole, as tempting as it is to sell sometimes, I know your right ones that have been steady eddies and doing well in the past have been beaten down lately more so the American/international and technology funds, it's a bit frustrating seeing them keep dropping, but will just have to sit tight and wait for recovery

Good evening Dan, sorry mate been losing the will to invest lately :-( just about everything with me has dropping and dropping lately especially the funds even the ones that were the best performers like fundsmith, don't know if others are having the same problem ?, but enough of that a funny thing this afternoon anyone who's with hl will know the prices are all incorrect just after market close, and Vodafone was showing as 165, and I was almost showing a profit there wow, I wonder if that can become a reality some time soon ? nice to see Vodafone getting back on track and let's hope it can meet some of our targets for Friday, unlikely there will be a war I think, but after all that's happened the last few years anything's possible

Hi Fleccy Re; top up, well I topped up on legal&gen on Friday after a big drop in the sp, and it took another big drop today, so not good timing on my part, also got falky on there winding me up suggesting everything's going to take a big drop lol, brave move topping up on Lloyds as they are always the first to get hit and last to recover, but hopefully things will work out for the better, fingers crossed, think vod came off pretty good considering

Falky, i think your loving this mate, be carefull you don't miss out on the bottom price though, drip feeding is best for me, i lost out by topping up friday, nothing unusual there for me, but still have an average of 230, good luck all whatever you decide
