Hello Soton, well i hope it's a case of great minds think alike lol, i need to start increasing my income stocks and like the quarterly dividends which seem to keep increasing here, so thought this might be a good addition, not sure what direction this will go over the coming months, so will be happy to average down a bit if it should drop lower

Dan, a fantastic investment ? have you been hitting the bottle mate, you seem a bit confused, i'm sure those who bought this in the sixty's will be very pleased with the way this has been rising, but i expect most longer term holders who paid around £2 for this share are still wishing they never invested here, the 50% cut in the dividend was a big disappointment, unless of course it makes up for the loss of income with continued growth, let's see what 2026 will bring for us all

The way it's been going that 400k will be worth 200k, let's hope it changes direction in 2026

Hello Dan, well i always said that i think this will keep rising, by how much and how soon though? we will have to wait and see where it goes, no regrets at the moment as my other shares have also been rising, but you never know i may decide to buy back in here at some time if i like the way it's going and if the dividend should get increased, best of luck mate, and a happy new year to you all

I can't predict what will happen in the future, but with hindsight had I invested all my money in lgen 10 years ago I would have been in a better place today

One thing you can be sure of here, is if someone posts incorrect information they will always be corrected, the next few months upto exdiv will be interesting, should something happen to give a knee jerk drop in sp, I will be happy to add more

Historically this share has always dropped a lot more than the dividend after exdiv date, will be interesting to see what happens next year

Good evening Dan, i wish i had a crystal ball to answer that question mate, maybe the best performer for 2026 will be Vodafone or maybe not who knows ? i have just made some changes to my own portfolio to suit my own circumstances, now that i'm retired i want a good dividend income from my shares, and i have a mixture of funds for growth, not all US based

but i'm always happy to say what shares i'm invested in, which are

m&g, aviva,phnx,lgen, are my best performers, others that are paying a good dividend that i'm hoping will catch up next year are house builders tw,psn and ukw, i have decided to call it a day with Vodafone but i hope it does well for those who are holding long time

Eckie, I still like lgen, as it's a reliable source of income, but you do have a point, mng,phnx,aviv, have outperformed with regards to capital appreciation, this year, but next year who knows which way it will swing
