RE: Ethiopian Election postponed19 May 2021 14:01
Deceptive headline can us “indefinitely” as the actual date is not given in reality though

“Therefore, Birtukan noted that the Board will re-schedule the polling day by some 10 or 15 days and the exact date will be announced after consultations with the political parties.” If you look at the date the article came out and other comments from other articles the same time or after...
“ At a meeting on Saturday with officials from several political parties, Birtukan Mideksa, head of the electoral board, said there were still challenges with voter registration, training of electoral staff, and ballot papers.
She announced that the election will probably not be held on 5 June but instead delayed for two to three weeks,”
“Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has sought to allay any concerns....
He said the elections would be held "in the coming short weeks" and that "contrary to speculations" voter registration had been good.” So I most likely time between two to three weeks from June the fifth maybe outside chance of a week longer any longer than that and they would have to backtrack and would face accusations of just continually delaying the election which they are unlikely to want.
Jeez if we did not have drama enough someone always looking for more.
