Yes and so it continues. Whenever I buy a stock it then goes into a decline. It it's a rising one it then reverses. If it's a dip that appears to be turning back up e.g. by looking at MACD and more buys than sells then it turns back down and goes deeper. Over the years I've concluded that I affect the market - at least for that stock. Finally, when I sell out an inexplicable recovery happens.

Other tech stocks I own like KWS and KNOS have also been hit hard today. The common factor is me. Don't know how I do it.

It was £3 at the beginning of 2020 before Covid really hit. Long term trend seems jerkily upwards. So am hoping we might get back there. One of the good dividend payers.

Yes it looks like the next dividend wont be paid. By now it should have been declared. The dividend is barely covered by earnings. I suspect they need the cash. The industry insiders must know this hence the relentless sp decline.

Some pretty big sells after hours again. Maybe some large investors are predicting a steady decline. Maybe the directors know something. I bought more last week a bit prematurely it seems. Just have to hope for a recovery.

This really has its ups and downs. I bought today at 240 hoping it's near the bottom of the latest dip.
There seemed to be more buys than sells today (apart from the big UT sell after hours) although the price was falling.
Brokers looking at 280 same as nakedtrader.
Nothing about Spirent looks risky to me but I am good at getting wrong footed.

What does HUR do when they run out of current reserves - tap the market for more money for more exploration?

Get in at no more than 825 and treat as a 5%+ bond.
A bonus if it ever gets back to to £10.

I should have added that you get 10p simply by dividing annual oil production by shares in issue @ around today's OP but that excludes the cost base and any interruptions.

How do you work out that HUR is undervalued?
Isn't the sp range merely a function of day traders?

History shows this to be subject to very large swings. Anyone investing around 10-11 ought to be ok.

JayneC - you weren't able to factor in the fact that I bought in recently. If it was to sustain a rise it would violate the rule which dictates I never make a profit any individual share purchase. I ought o write a book on how I do it.
My bet is that it is heading for 2200. The P/E is very high at nearly 50. As the market is very febrile that isn't good.

Let's hope there are no neutral or negative aspects in tomorrow's report, or that it won't be seen by analysts as good enough.

This ought to be a good investment. However, everything I think ought to be good turns out not to be.

The market will lure people in for the dividend. There are then masses of auto reinvestment plans that execute on div payment date which will pay the higher price. It then drops.
