Buying time is a fair comment FLBW and how could be right but... Don’t the big companies plan ahead, and I mean years ahead? If they wait another year it’ll be too late and they would likely have to pay more. How long would it take to build a mine? When would the first concentrate be produced if a deal was done today for example? 2021-22? A year after mayhem?
Need the overhang to clear first, if you have someone dumping millions of shares it kinda makes it difficult for the sp to rise. Great volume so far so it won’t be long before we’re back to something more respectable
Why would KDR go to the lengths of compensating land owners (with money they haven’t got) if nothing is happening soon? Sounds like the Lahtojoki mine is finally about to happen and I suspect we aren’t paying for it - check the detail on the deal with Rio which is referred to many times. Also, Lahtojoki is exactly what Rio needs to replace the coloured pink diamonds that Argyll is running out of
To raise meaningful money at this level would dilute everyone including the board themselves to homeopathic levels. This year is different to previous years in that no finance has yet been sorted out. I hope it’s because there’s some kind of deal being thrashed out with someone - maybe Rio Tinto? The market has priced this company as junk but it could just surprise everyone imo. Read the broker note if you haven’t already, there seems to be a very clear plan outlined in it. Oh and it gives a NPV of $30m for one of their deposits with arguably better grade material available to boost that.
Are they trying to tell us that Lahtojoki has high quality and valuable pink diamonds that may radically change the economics of the deposit? That combined with a nearby yet to be discovered kimberlite body (with record breaking indicators) suggest big uplift short term and Rio would probably take it if we can bulk sample 10 tons to prove it?
I’ve already said, on numerous occasions, I completely understand why long term holders are annoyed and I’m well aware of the history of this company (I’ve done my research). However, it’s neither constructive or relevant to me therefore pointless arguing or discussing it further.
