MNRG have a strategy of investing in short term development projects which they can help take to operation and then realise, taking their profits and re-investing in the next project(s). We have the projects, they have some money so its a win-win with the added bonus that each also have a share in the success of their partner.

They now make more than cheap toys and many of the things they now produce cannot be made elsewhere as other manufacturers couldnt compete and folded. Same for stuff made by more 'friendly' states such as for Shoes, Hosiery, Clothes.
Did you notice the effect when the Suez Canal got blocked earlier in the year? So because of our liking for least cost they have us over a short-term barrel.

Maybe we should get a refund of the loan we made to PEEL as they dont seem to need it urgently now. Although I never understood why they couldnt fund it themselves anyway and no explanation was ever given. We are supposed to be operating a capex lite model but are buying stuff for the developer.

bandicoot - I share your optimism but missed targets are never good for perception of competence and whilst I certainly agree with your points 1 and 2, I'm hoping that point 3 is correct also as if not it will be a big hurdle to overcome. Overall I believe that EQT will come through winning if its allowed to.

I read the inference to be that its the potential down the line i.e. after the 9 months and on if you hold.

My Buy at 26.9 is showing as a sell and so I expect all those around there are the same.

DP provided us with some explanation which was needed however I am unsure who was/is the current Project Manager. Also the project needs 4.5 mill but am not sure if this is part of the original budget which has not been funded or is additional to the original budget. Either way DP need to take this project thru to completion to restore confidence. Upsides : Shows Equtec competencies, Provides a show site for future sales, Could be a good earner. Downsides: Will take more management effort, Will take funds which were to be used elsewhere so having a knock-on effect. Aggr the company doesn't need.

AB has 1 priority at the moment - sales. Firm money down sales. Until then we have no business and are just an R&D company. Whether its him or somebody he hires doesn't matter but somebody needs to sell and soon.

This is seriously bad news. We are a company striving to prove credibility and professionalism and this knocks that. This project looks straightforward and follows the example of the Spanish installation so claims of mis-management are worrying. We seem to have reached finger-pointing stage and so DP need to sort it out and give us an explanation - pronto. Perhaps this is why things seem to have been so quiet.

I hope so for all us pi's but any movement is the market passing an opinion.

So DR is positioned at the door. It is interesting that the new guy can do DRs Job on 2 days a week! This seems to be just more positioning without moving the company forward. What this company needs is 1- A CEO with dynamism and vision 2 - A sales team that can broker relationships and sell. TY does not strike me as a businessman but a good talker, fine for Chairman but no good as stand-in CEO. I still believe in the tech and the opportunity but the lead team is not currently impressing so still holding.

If you want lots of cameras there and lots of flag waving then either Prince William or Boris will do that.

It seems to me that the benefit of the spin outs is not accruing to ORPH but to ORPH shareholders. Keeping these 2assets" within ORPH is only of value if ORPH can do something with them but just lying around unable to be developed because of cost required gives nothing to shareholders and indeed the "asset" may atrophy and lose value if not developed. Whether the rumpORPH is worth less without these underdeveloped "assets" is a calculation which each shareholder must make for themselves.

What is a puzzle is what has caused the drop. The RNS News was expected but the price drop shows the market disappointment - but what was disappointing? The share of the project? The size of the project? The expected earnings? The time to commission? So what was expected then?

I do not understand why there is all this angst about the share price. Unless you are buying or selling the share price is just a footnote. Obviously if you are a trader it matters greatly but then you takes your chances and cant complain when it goes against you but for Investors who are not on a knife edge, it matters little.
