Corallian have just published an updated shareholder register:
Of the 989,439 Corallian shares bought by RBD for 469,000,000 RBD shares, just 6 of the 59 shareholders accounted for more than 80% of the shares sold. Just three were almost 60%. Less than half actually participated.
The price of of RBD between the offer and closing averages about 0.7p equating to £3.28mm worth of shares, today worth under £800k. It could be presumed then that the selling post deal was down to 4 big holders selling, as they held about 340,000,000 shares between them. The only two Corallian Directors who are also shareholders. (Hindle and the Chairman) also sold down
So it also begs the question:
How are the members of management team incentivised if they're not shareholders, and the Chairman and Hindle chose to reduce their holdings. It must be either be a cash bonus or more likely options... so how many options do the management have .. what will the dilution due to options, this is key to understanding the value attributable to RBD shareholding when its sold...
