very nearly made back my losses from the initial drop, having averaged down and bought back in at the low. Always looked heavily oversold. Business looks pretty strong at present, in right market, primarily in right sales channel and always the chance that someone larger may come sniffing........you never know, for the moment though happy that this rises slowly and surely back to the pre drop level. Hope others al,so managed to dip back in when the drop happened and are now reaping the rewards of that bravery. GLA

do the numbers mean anything as that is 2 days now the buys have significantly outweighed the sells yet the price languishes.....?

settlement likely, not really in anyones best interests to cripple a company employing best part of 1000 people with an important range of products in North America really is it - or am i being naive??

from a rather inexperienced investor, why is the bid so much higher than the ask at present and the spread so wide, usually the other way round..........apologies if a dumb question but still learning............

Lawyers for Mike Ashley's Sports Direct have written to Debenhams administrators FTI Consulting claiming the firm has a conflict of interest.

The RPC lawyers said FTI Consulting was involved in advising Debenhams, transacting the pre-pack administration which transferred ownership of the retail chain from its shareholders to its lenders, and was "heavily involved" in the "failure by the company, its lenders and advisors to seriously engage" with Sports Direct "rescue proposals".

"It is clear that you are conflicted," the lawyers added.

as I mentioned a couple of times already today on here, buys have far outstripped sells all day, if to be believed currently 50m buys to 32m sells - this gap is widening as the day goes on.

I did dip back in at 0.27 to average down in the end, could now salvage my original investment by the end of the day and come out in profit..........would be a bloody miracle but could realistically happen. I would consider that a good day after waking to this news.

Never averaged down before like that, sometimes feels like throwing good money after bad, but might, I say might, work out for me today and over the coming week or so.

RB have already set aside $400m for this, it is note 19 in their 2018 Financial report and was referred to again in an RNS sent out today on their site.

23m sold vs 32m bought yet a slide to 23p, I cannot make out what is happening here, obviously understand the news and the risks, just need to identify the bottom...........have only a very small stake here (thankfully), could buy back in now, average down and then sell out on relatively small rise to recoup all monies.......uuummmm!
