SP peaked at £1.03 in September 2016 and was hovering around the 70 -90p levels for an extended time.
Some shareholders are expecting an LE price in excess of £2.50 although I think this unlikely.
There are roughly one billion shares in issue with a lot of outstanding warrants and options.
I'm keeping a weather eye on how things go.

Schlumberger have had an interest in sound energy ( SOU ) since 2016 when they collaborated on the moroccan Tendrara project.
The SP rose from the the mid teens to over a pound in a few months on nothing but a promise and hype plus largely the presence of sclum and has so far delivered little. They are currently awaiting the results of the latest Tendrara dril TE10 which if proved commercial, shareholders are hoping will lead to the Liquidity event or sale of the company for some price in excess of £1 per share as promised by CEO James Parsons.
Sclum's involvement was the making of SOU and I have always maintained it would be the obvious SP for COPL.
I just wish they would get on with it !

All we know is that there has been a huge share churn with a large percentage of the company changing hands.....or so it would appear.
The price has risen but with the kind of volume we have seen it should have been a huge rise.
I have no clue what is going on.
One thing I feel sure about is that it's being engineered. The twiterrati and BB comments don't have this kind of effect.
Another thing......I'm sure Arthur knows.

The kind of extraordinary volume we have seen is certainly not caused by rampers on BBs or other social media.

It may as LB has said be positive or negative and I also hope it is positive.
It is encouraging that the original spike has not collapsed.........We shall see.

I'm sure Jeremy Asher is a man of integrity and good communication skills but unfortunately TRP has never discovered or produced anything.

LB13 was a totally different, even wildcat exploration.
It failed because the seismic fooled everyone including Exxon.
It was also deep water drilling.
OPL 226 is about 50 metres so shallow with a jack up rig.
Oil and gas have already been discovered and the seismic data can be calibrated against original well logs and strata samples.
Not X marks the spot but as near as it could be.

Arthur must know by now that the " pump and place " routine is a busted flush.
Moreover the dilution gets worse each time.
Some real good news in an RNS is what is needed and he must know it.

There was a comparison recently between AST and COPL and I can tell you the AST asset is peanuts to what is realisable here.
If it does come good the re rate will be spectacular !
At least we should know something in the next few weeks.
