Excellent - per Hemscott Finncap have increased their forecasts for this year and next year. They've also increased their target price to a still conservative 25p from 18p. They now go for 1.4p EPS to March'14 and 1.8p EPS for the year starting in only 4 months' time. Which makes ACM pretty cheap imho - even more so if you: - strip out the cash pile - value the high recurring income at a premium as the City does - a dividend yield of around 3% with 0.6p and 0.7p dividends this year and next year respectively The H1 results were nice and solid for the always weaker first half, with plenty of confidence for this H2. The key figure is the £1.1m EBITDA given the high amortisation/depreciation charge etc - very respectable for the weaker period, with a full contribution from Signify and four months from Eqalis still to come in H2. Plus ACM have £3.6m net cash, and 62% of gross profits arising from recurring revenues. That is something it is now getting close to being able to achieve. Furthermore, 62% of gross profit is now derived from recurring revenue streams - up from 53% last year. The purpose of the acquisition trail is to build out a range of security offerings that can be offered as a managed service. Accumuli wants its discussions with customers and potential customers to be – quite rightly, we say – business-led rather than technology-led. The ultimate aim is that deal sizes grow to become worth 100s of thousands of pounds, rather than 10s of thousands of pounds. We like what Accumuli is aiming for. Let’s see if it can show more evidence over the next 6-12 months of edging towards that objective."

Terrific trading statement today. "Continued momentum", good cash flows - and also increasing traction in the USA as well as the UK. I've bought a few more first thing. HVN is 100% undervalued against some of its sector comparators - and it has a healthy Balance Sheet. HVN is still almost on a single-figure P/E. Plus the business cycle is turning HVN's way. Its time has come!

Terrific core results, easily beating expectations - 14.81p EPS compared to consensus 13.99p. Current year consensus may be lifted from 16.4p EPS to say 17p EPS? Which, with the cash pile, purs RNWH on a very cheap single-figure P/E. And the dividend whacks forecasts at 3.6p compared to 3.3p forecast. Many, many positives: - order books scooting upwards - margins rising, though still much room for improvement - all divisions performing well - much potential for huge near-term contracts in Nuclear - £2.8m and rising cash pile, so could well be more acquisitions soon and much more.

Excellent stuff. $5m-$7m is pretty decent revenue from just one contract win for a £9.9m m/cap company.

Good results today, with basic EPS up 54% over last year in the much seasonally weaker H1, and H2 looking good in all divisions. In particular, it's worth noting that operating cash inflows were £4.5m compared to £2.4m operating profits, due to the high depreciation charge (see note 15). In addition, these results are after charging £400k of legal costs re the Unipixel case so are even better in terms of continuing operations. Excellent progress on CDS too as well as CIT, XSense etc. CDS looks like a significant market-disrupting opportunity. In particular, there is a definite sense of certainty over the revenues to come from XSense: "CIT is now generating growing revenues from the supply of coated film to Atmel and its turnover and profitability are set to expand rapidly as the XSense™ programme ramps up in the next calendar year and beyond."

With Q3 results 11% ahead of last year's, I continue to get a nice warm feeling about this lovely, solid company.

Before today's profit warning the consensus forecasts were for just 0.19p EPS for this year and 0.33p EPS for next year, i.e PBT of just £90k this year and £140k next year. This against a £44m m/cap. After today's profit warning/update I assume that these forecasts will be further reduced. UBI looks a top quality company to me. But it's one of those situations where investors have to decide whether they accept what is fundamentally a highly overvalued share price at present on the basis that UBI will - eventually - deliver fast growth at some point. The downside risk looks much greater than the potential upside for me at present, especially as although there are loan facilities in place there's still the risk of further dilution for working capital. A 100p share price (say) would give a much more realistic valuation of around £22m. However....it seems UBI has strong institutional support, and there are a number of companies on the market which are valued at hundreds of millions of pounds which are still loss-making. So it's a question of whether you believe in the company so much that you can overlook the fundamentals and concentrate on the potential instead. I'm not a holder at these levels and almost certainly won't be unless the share price falls some way from here.
