The main point of interest here of course is the cash collection/reduction of debtors/accrued income - though of course with a mere £2m m/cap it's reassuring that GNG continues to be profitable. With around 60p per share of such receivables, any further improvement from the slight optimism re cash and debtors shown in the recent trading statement should have a dramatic effect on the share price. Looks like a 100,000 share price buy at 5.75p this morning has got things moving again.

Encouraging to see the price ticking up already today on a buy of just 755 shares!

Excellent trading update in all respects out this morning. Particularly pleasing to see such high recurring income, up to 60% now. And the cash pile is at £3.6m with a bumper H2 to come given the additional £0.6m deferred consideration due to ACM. Plus Oryx have bought another 570,000 shares and are above 14% now. It doesn't appear they'll be stopping buying any time soon.

The automotive market has started to spend and open up, particularly in areas such as Japan and China where key customers are." "We are now above where we were before the downturn." "We don't want to be in a position where we have to turn down orders."

Almost 1m shares traded already today, very healthy. Online looks good too. You can sell 90,000 shares at 4.78p, but only buy 7,500 maximum at 5p. Bonum, GNG have £22m of trade receivables. That's about 60p per share - on top of the current £2.9m cah pile and a profitable core business with high recurring income. If the current improvement in cash collection continues then at some point GNG will be a multiple of the current share price.

Per today's results TRAP has £25m of liquidity including cash, inventories, debtors and IGAS shares - that equates to over 10p per share, i.e the current share price, with nothing at all for TRAP's myriad other interests, free carries, future Athena production etc. Online there are only 35k shares maximum available to buy at 10.75p, but you can sell 125k at almost mid-price at 10.59p. Very encouraging.

Interesting - online you can only buy 50k max at 3.5p (about £1,750's worth), but you can sell 125k at a premium at 3.09p

An encouraging RNS today, with some reasonably positive signs and commentary. Net cash is up by £0.7m from a year ago to £2.9m. This compares to a £1.2m m/cap. In particular - hang out the flags - "we expect that total trade receivables and accrued income at 30 September 2013 to be slightly lower than at 31 March 2013" (shame about the lack of proof-reading). Looks like the overhang has cleared - suddenly there's only a maximum 35k shares available to buy online.

PLE are now up to 13p after today's news, compared to just over 2p at 30th June. That makes PEBI's £166k at 30/6 now worth over £1m. APHB has also tripled since then, i.e this is now worth around £200k compared to £60k at 30/6. SUMM is now 15p compared to 4p at 30/6, i.e now worth around £800k against the 30/6 £212k. ARWR is now $4.75 against $2 at 30/6, i.e £207k is now worth £475k. These are rather big gains compared to a £3.5m m/cap! NAV was already 10.6p at 30/6, so now it has to be say 16p-17p?

Online at lunchtime I could sell at least 35,000 at a premium at 36.25p, but could only buy a maximum 1,000 at the full 38p offer!

Hmm...the Private Punter, an excellent share columnist/tipster in the Cambridge News, has today mentioned VLE as follows in his weekly column. Looks like a fuller analysis to come - hopefully this will drum up a little interest. Good stuff - £20k is a pretty good maiden purchase from the Chairman, particularly in relation to the Chairman's annual retainer, which was just $50k last year. Certainly a signal to investors, and hopefully there may be more director purchases to come.
