Trading statement - PBT to be above expectations.....so likely to be around 2.3p EPS. Good news is a recovery of �0.7m cash under a settlement. Bad news is that �1m of revenues have been deferred to this year, so that's merely a timing issue and will benefit this year's PBT. In particular the visibility of revenues for this year bodes well: "the Group continues to trade profitably and enters 2018 with an order book of �18 million. Over �12 million of this is scheduled for delivery in the coming year and the Board remains confident of the Group's future prospects."

It's reassuring that PC and ED continue to sell well, but no-one should really have been expecting anything else from the update. It'll be good to hear first details of the other games in the pipeline at some stage, perhaps in he next results narrative.

Good to see a 1p move up today on just a �4k buy at 25p. I'm surprised it's taken this long with Brent at around $68 or so and the boom in shale output.

Finncap's note yesterday supporting their increased 420p target succinctly summarises the US tax reforms I've been banging on about as follows: "Tax changes. The US tax reforms proposed by the US President passed into law just before Christmas. The main change is to reduce the headline corporation tax rate from 35% to 21%, effective 1 January 2018. Profits made overseas are also allowed to be repatriated back to the US tax free, and a partial amnesty on historic profits at reduced rates. A readjustment of the company�s deferred tax assets is expected, which will be a one-off non cash item. In addition, the reforms allow a more generous, immediate expensing of capital equipment purchases, which is expected to result in customers accelerating their purchasing of equipment in the short term, while also potentially stimulating longer-term investment plans by manufacturers." They've increased EPS for this year by almost 20% to 34.4c, and the forecast cash pile rises to $26.8m - potentially bringing another special dividend.

Moving nicely now. �400k PAT is a very good result indeed given the below-par H1, and the H2 upturn is very welcome. For a �4.5m m/cap company to introduce and commercialise two new products is a pleasing achievement. For a company this size to roll out the new Novostar product across the entire Sri Lankan Airlines fleet is no mean feat. The new Podstar electronic system is being rolled out in conjunction with React Transport. React sound established and impressive and should bring with them terrific contacts.
