Good news today for RNWH re the Government's renewed commitment to Sizewell C.

In last month's interims RNWH noted:

"Nuclear power is an essential element of the Government's clean energy strategy as evidenced by its commitment to construct up to three new nuclear plants in the next 10 years7. These programmes will provide long-term and sustainable demand for our range of specialist services.

In April, we were pleased to see the UK Government approved a £20 billion investment for the construction of Sizewell C, alongside a number of Small Modular Reactor's (SMR's)."

FYI Techinvest in their May issue had a long Buy feature on FNX, which concluded as follows:

FYI Techinvest reported on the Collins Walker acquisition in their May issue and concluded as follows - this was of course before last Friday's acquisition and the upgrade to 7.1p EPS:

"This looks a good acquisition for SDI, with integration into Applied Thermal

Control strategically designed to enhance Collins Walker’s growth through expanded

manufacturing capacity, strengthened sales capabilities, and improved operational

efficiencies. This synergy is projected to drive increased sales and margin performance for both entities. Additionally, SDI reports that there are further group value-added opportunities with LTE Scientific, which utilises electric

boilers in its autoclave product line.

The acquisition is expected to be earnings enhancing in the first full year post-acquisition, with potential for additional integration benefits in due course.

For the year ended April 30, the broker consensus forecast for SDI is for net profit of £7.85m and earnings per share of 6.2p, with these figures rising to £8.6m and 6.9p respectively for fiscal 2026. We feel that a prospective P/E of 7.8 for the current year represents excellent medium-term value given the strong growth markets that the group targets and the quality of the underlying portfolio of

Looks like breaking out of its recent share price range now hopefully.

With 0.28p EPS forecast this year BBSN are on a miserly P/E of exactly 10 - even before the "materially accretive" to EPS likely major acquisition of MiniMBA is hopefully confirmed soon.

Good to see yet another contract win for QRO, this time £300k and all to be recognised this year.

By this stage there's normally been an RNS about the posting of the AR and a Notice of AGM, but it's a bit late this year. Which is strange as the prelims were actually 9 or 10 days earlier than usual this year.

Maybe there's something in the air which is delaying things. An acquisition or a sale of Shire are the obvious possibilities.

I was at this week's Mello presentaion and was very impressed.

The Green brothers are extremely impressive and give the distinct impression they know what they're doing.

They couldn't for obvious reasons say too much about the upcoming MiniMBA acquisition. They did note that this was a very impressive business and that not only did MiniMBA have great growth potential in itself, but that BBSN was not going to become an e-learning company - the big opportunity here is in cross-selling.

Cavendish summarise as follows, with increases in target price to 140p and the new forecast of 7.1p EPS:

Good to see the recent bounce continuing. The ex-cash P/E here remains extremely low given the prospects in defence, 5G, water infrastructure etc.

From last week - Aldi are planning to open 40 new stores this year and a further 80 in 2026/27 as part of a £650m UK expansion. Good news for Shire.

Good to see a decent bounce continuing from the post warning lows to the now 60.75p.

The new forecasts are 6.4p EPS to this September, rising to 9.1p EPS to Sept'26.

These are "conservative", not allowing for any upturn/higher contract activity in this H2, so hopefully we've now seen the bottom.
