Allenby Capital comment: Solid start to FY21 by MTI Wireless Edge Ltd, the technology group specialising in comprehensive radio frequency communication solutions across multiple sectors, with Q1 revenue growth of 4% to $9.95m and EBIT +14% to $0.96m, reflecting operational gearing.

There was strong cash generation with net cash up 10% to $9.95m despite paying the FY20 dividend of $2.2m in March (the FY19 dividend was paid in April 2020). Each of the three divisions (Antennas, Water Solutions (Mottech) and Distribution & Consultation (MTI Summit)) remained profitable with the bulk of the growth coming from Mottech.

The outlook remains positive with structural growth drivers for each division (5G roll out, water scarcity and growth in the international defence market) and the disruption caused by COVID-19 is starting to dissipate.

Forecasts and fair value of 95p/share remain unchanged, equivalent to an FY21 EV/EBITDA of 19.1xfalling to 16.9x in FY22. The current share price offers a yield of 2.8% in FY21 and 3.0% in FY22."

GAN Limited (NASDAQ:GAN) trades higher after adding a fourth casino client in Michigan via a new deal with the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan. The company expects to nab a "fair share" of the Michigan market through the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort deal.
GAN also received some positive attention today from B. Riley, which transferred coverage to analyst David Bain.
Bain notes that GAN is leveraged to iGaming and online sports wagering total addressable market increases. He also values the recent Ainsworth deal at $2 to $6 per share.
B. Riley has a Buy rating on GAN and price target of $26."

MWE have around a 10.7p per share cash pile (plus a sizeable freehold property as extra asset value back-up).

At 63.5p, that puts MWE on a current year ex-cash P/E of only 16.8, dropping to a forward P/E of 15.1.

And that's without any further upgrades.

Taking into account sector ratings in MWE's growth sectors of 5G, water management etc I'd say that's rather good value now :o))

There's obviously been a seller or two out there recently, but imo that is now giving buyers a terrific opportunity.

Finncap reiterate their 1200p valuation, as well as upgrading FY21-22 by +5-16%......

Terrific Q1 numbers! With "Tremor delivering record levels of organic revenue growth".

Plus a $130m and fast-growing cash pile.

All systems go for the US IPO.

Great to see Slater Investments increasing their holdings here - they've bought around another 4m shares, and now hold 51.49m, or 5.3%:

Very good results, ahead of expectations in terms of revenues and particularly the 5.83p adjusted EPS (compared to the 4.6p forecast).

The £12.7m cash pile is way ahead of the £10.5m forecast.

I calculate the historic ex-cash P/E to be just 17.3, which is pretty low for this sector and with such prospects going forward.

It's good to see the increased emphasis in the narrative on earnings-enhancing acquisitions as well as organic growth from 5G, cloud computing etc.

The outlook is rosy in general, if conservative in the short term as usual in terms of this year being consistent with 2021, from this very prudent CEO. With some of the COVID-related gains being continued into this year, and with 5G etc accelerating, I suspect we may find that as per last year CLX are giving themselves a base from which to underpromise and overdeliver.

Buying coming in now at the full 90p offer price. Perhaps an overhang has cleared.

Certainly interesting that this rise is coming on the day of the closed AGM today!

"Sureserve Group (LON:SUR) – the improvement continues

“Well positioned for growth” is how the compliance and energy services group described its prospects when it declared its interims to end-March earlier this week.

Revenues were up 4.6% at £114.6m while pre-tax profits were 30.6% better at £4.4m. Earnings came in at 2.2p per share at the halfway stage.

Impressively, the group’s order book at that stage was £371.6m, compared to the same period last year of £323.7m.

Net cash was a strong £9.7m (£3.5m).

Analyst Alastair Stewart, at the group’s brokers Shore Capital, estimates that sales for this year to end-September will be around £243.1m (£195.7m), rising to £263.9m next year, and to £284.7m in 2023.

In that same time span he is going for adjusted pre-tax profits of £12.9m this year (£9.4m), £15.4m next year and £17.0m in 2023. With earnings improving from 6.6p this year (4.9p), to 7.8p next year and then 8.4p per share the year after.

On those estimates I see the group’s shares rising from the current 80p to well over 100p within months.

Professional as always, former boss Bob Holt left the group in very good shape when he stepped back from his chairman position and from the board in mid-March this year. He had done his job, having reshaped the group since joining it in July 2016."

Shore Capital have increased their target price to 740p (from 700p) - more than they initially suggested post-results as per my prior post :o))

Engineering group Renew (RNWH) is already performing ahead of forecasts and is well placed to benefit from the government’s plan to pump money into infrastructure, according to Shore Capital.

Analyst Tom Fraine retained his ‘buy’ recommendation and increased his ‘fair value’ target price from 700p to 740p on the stock, which was closed up 3.4%, or 22p, at 662p yesterday.

The group reported 12% organic revenue growth in the six months to end of March, while operating profit was up 11% and earnings per share increased by 14%.

This led Fraine to upgrade full-year 2021 revenue and profit forecasts by 3%, even before adding in the impact of newly acquired water engineering services company J Browne.

‘[We] see scope to upgraded these by a further 6%,’ he said.

‘We consider Renew to be in an excellent position to benefit from the UK government’s commitment to invest £640bn in infrastructure over the next five years and Network Rail’s £800m electrification programme to decarbonise the railways.’"

and a further tick up just before the close yesterday, which hopefully bodes well.

Re-ratings can be extremely quick once they get started.
