Great to see ST retain his 100p price target - this is one of his favoured 5G and climate change plays rolled into one......

Great to see ST so robust in his support. The share price reaction to the update has been completely overblown imo,.

With 6.21p EPS now forecast for next year, ST's share price target of 130p looks reasonable, especially given the likelihood of further earnings-enhancing acquisitions - here's his conclusion:

"So, with Ebitda forecast to rise by £3.5m and depreciation charges and amortisation charges only rising by £0.5m, then effectively 85 per cent of next year’s Ebitda growth should be converted into operating profit, hence why Cenkos expect operating profit to rise from £5.6m to £8.5m in 2022 and deliver 38 per cent higher EPS of 6.21p. On this basis, the shares are trading on a miserly, forward PE ratio of 10.5.

If anything, the risk to 2022 earnings estimates is skewed to the upside. That’s because Randall confirmed that the company has firepower of £20m plus through Venture’s new bank facility to make further earnings accretive acquisitions.

In my view, there has been a massive overreaction to last week’s trading update – 2022 forecasts are in line with the expectations I outlined in last week’s article – and the share price fall is not only overdone, but is likely to prove a cracking buying opportunity. I am certainly not changing my 130p target price. Buy."

Terrific news - a new major mainstream US automotive client and a highly material contract.

And it's telling that SCE's discs are replacing the carbon ceramic discs previously supplied by another company (presumably Brembo....), and are to be used on both axles:

Encouraging to see CNIC announce a new presentation for investors on 1st September:

Good H1 results - also reported nice and quickly, which is a sign of a well-run company.

MWE has some seasonality, so H2 is generally better than H1 and MWE look well placed to meet (or beat) forecasts.

Cash inflows were extremely good at $3.1m from operations, so MWE now have a $9.7m cash pile - more than 10% of the market cap - despite paying the dividend in the period.

All three divisions have excellent prospects and the outlook is positive. Antennas' profit surged in the period despite a small drop in revenues, whilst water and distribution both increased revenues nicely with varying effects on profits, and overall 13% rise in net profit is an excellent result imo in the current environment.

To sum up:

Two trades of 60,571 shares each at 89p - 9p above the 80p offer price - just reported?!

Cenkos have now raised their forecasts to 4.53p adjusted EPS this year, rising to 6.21p EPS next year.

That's a P/E of 16.2 falling to just 11.8, now incorporating the acquisitions which weren't previously included..

It's still possible that there'll be another earnings-enhancing acquisition or two soon.

Management have earned the market's distrust with (a) share sales and (b) failing to flag the extent of the drop in the "one-off" sales of hand sanitiser and Dentyl China.

Nevertheless, this doesn't mean that the core business is not a good, steadily growing business with lots of growth potential from both existing production facilities and the current product portfolio.

Just look at the success of the relatively recently acquired Kelo-cote, which presumably is part of the reason why the order book excluding the "one-offs" is up 9%.

IMO this company may, looking forward, be considered to have been an absolute bargain at these levels.

Singer have also issued an update today, with a 130p fair valuation "using a peer-based 15x EV/EBITDA multiple".

They show 3.1p and 3.8p EPS respectively. Interesting to see the difference between the Cenkos and Singer numbers. Singer show absolutely no workings or detail, whereas Cenkos' note is far more detailed.

The core business outside the two "one-off" areas of hand sanitiser and Dentyl China is up 9%, and the order book is higher - but those two areas are suffering badly.

Cenkos have increased 2021 revenue forecasts by 8% to £35.9m, with a cash adjusted P/E of 20.4.

The cash adjusted P/E now falls to 15.1 next year based on £46m revenues and £8.2m PBT, up from £4.4m PBT this year given the acquisitions.

They retain their BUY, and summarise:

"Venture Life has provided a trading update for the 6-months to June 2021 and its recent acquisitions. The company expects H1/21E revenues to be £13.8m versus £16.9m for H1/20A, the decline due to lower Chinese Dentyl and hand sanitiser gel (HSG) sales despite the rest of the business delivering 9% growth. We have updated our forecasts to reflect the current trading and recently announced acquisitions and have extended forecasts to include FY22E.

Reflecting the trading update data and the two recent acquisitions, our FY21E revenue forecast has increased to c£36m from c£33m. While the issues with Dentyl in China and sales of HSG are disappointing, we believe Venture Life is in a solid position to grow revenues and profits and still retains meaningful firepower to complete additional acquisitions to further bolster growth. We maintain out Buy recommendation."

KAPE were picked as one of Techinvest's six Best Buys for the second half of 2021 in last month's issue.

The new issue is now out, so it's probably OK to post what Techinvest said in their Best Buy feature:

"Kape Technologies develops and distributes a range of digital products in the online cybersecurity space, mainly aimed at the security market. Revenues have almost quadrupled over the last five years as the company has acted as a consolidator in its sector, completing a string of acquisitions and adding new products from its in-house development programme.

Revenue for the year ended 31 December increased by 85% to US$122.2m, driven by a 31% increase in organic growth in the digital privacy segment and a full year contribution from the transformational acquisition of PIA. Operating profit was up 158% to US$10.7m, and adjusted cash flow surged to US$20.4m reflecting the enhanced cash profile of the business due to the growing customer base.

While Kape's aim of becoming a global leader in consumer digital privacy and security is ambitious, progress to date in building out the business can hardly be faulted. For the current year, consensus broker forecast is for earnings per share of 18.78p rising to 23.16p for fiscal 2022. A prospective P/E of 13 for eighteen months out looks more than reasonable for a company with an outstanding growth profile."

CNIC were picked as one of Techinvest's six Best Buys for the second half of 2021 in last month's issue. There was also a second feature of CNIC in the same issue after the H1 trading update concluding "Continue to buy".

The new issue is now out, so it's probably OK to post what Techinvest said in their Best Buy feature:

"CentralNic develops and manages software platforms allowing businesses globally to buy subscriptions to domain names that are used for their own websites and email, as well as for protecting their brands online. These platforms can also be used for distributing domain name related software and services, an opportunity that contributes significantly to CentralNic's organic growth.

Results for the year ended Decmber 31 revealed a pleasing mix of organic and acquisition-led growth. Revenue was up 121% to US$289.7m, with adjusted EBITDA 71% higher at US$30.6m. Strong demand was reported for the company's two largest service lines, Wholesale domains and Monetisation, with the latter boosted by the rollout of a patented SSL monetisation solution in late 2019.

Strong cash conversion (106% on an adjusted basis in fiscal 2020) is an attractive feature of the business and free cashflow per share for the last year was circa 6.1p, which equates to an undemanding price to free cashflow figure of 13.7.

Broker consensus forecast for the current year is earnings per share of 7.21p, rising to 7.71p for fiscal 2022. On a prospective P/E of 10.8 for eighteen months out, we feel the shares reprsent excellent value. CentralNic's increasing focus on higher-margin and higher-growth segments of the domain name market also points to an improvement in the quality of earnings and significant opportunities to add customers."

New recent highs now - nice move up to 20.5p, prompted by 263,000 of buys in the first few minutes of trading today.

I suspect the 1.7m of shares reported at 19.7p after the close yesterday may also have helped clear the decks....

Following on from the four news extracts I summarised on 5th August, we now have two more lots of good news....

Altus Strategies include a nice plug for CAPD in their excellent exploration results RNS this morning:

The programme is due to recommence after the current rainy season, which ends in September. Capital Drilling Limited has been contracted to undertake the balance of the drilling programme. The programme comprises 7,000m (46 RC holes) in and around the Diba Deposit, testing potential down-dip and on-strike extensions, as well as infilling areas to increase the resource confidence. Approximately 5,500m (36 RC holes) is planned, to define and extend mineralisation at the Diba NW prospect. The drilling programme will also test the potential to link the mineralised zone at Diba NW to the current Diba Deposit. In addition, a number of priority prospects, located within 3km of the Diba Deposit, will be tested by AC drilling."

And Shanta Gold announced drilling results this week:

These aren't from CAPD rigs but they say:

Two drill rigs are currently active at the Isulu and Bushiangala deposits in West Kenya, with a third rig mobilised and now expected in August.

CAPD mention SHG as a contract win in the last trading statement, so this will be the CAPD rig arriving.

They also say:

Shanta is on track to complete approximately 35-40% of total planned drilling at West Kenya by the end of 2021...

Phase 2 of the ongoing diamond drilling campaign...amounts to 75,000 m of planned drilling and is due to be completed in Q4 2022.

So that looks like at least 18months work for the CAPD rig.

Very nice RNS today - not only a new contract win, but also importantly confirmation that "the business is trading well".....

It's encouraging to see MWE moving into these new areas - Space antennas just last month, and now Naval antennas, from a new customer whose contract value could reach $1.7m:

Nice buying coming in - 382,000 shares bought in the last hour and a half, at rising prices and now at 19.95p.

Hopefully there'll be a trading update around 19th August as per last year, though that may have been a one-off due to COVID. The post year end update on 6th October is more of a definite date, and that's not far off now itself.

In the meantime the share price continues its lovely steady rise to more new highs - yet at 92.5p the P/E for the year about to start remains just 11.8 given the forecast 7.8p EPS.

Interesting closing trade yesterday - 10,000 shares bought at 116p, way above the 113p published offer price. Very keen.

And this morning buying is coming in at almost 119p.
