Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
dated today: Nviro Cleantech (NVR, 7.75p, £5.12m) Has won a €0.785m grant from the EU for a full scale demonstration plant for its wood fibre technology recycling technology. The grant represents ¼ of the total costs of the 30 month build that started on the 1st November. The group confirms cost reductions that have reduced cash burn to £2m in the second half, leaving the group with £3m net cash at the September year end. Talks continue with prospective clients for its clean fuels technology as do talks with 2 potential projects on clean air systems. We remain cautious due to the danger of an additional cash raise – thus we maintain our SELL recommendation ahead of further dilution.
you have interest on the 'pleb' board because there are some posters on here who have multiple identities and whilst slating 'Premium' in public have 'Premium' accounts in different posting names that they read but don't post on. Just call me the conspiricacy theorist!! No really, I don't give a tinker's butt cheek either way, but its one of the flaws of Premium..........and it will be abused, no doubt. Mrs T ;-))
Flutiform trials done........check the RNS
I believe that Sundancer is correct, an accountant confirmed it for me yesterday (not that I didn't believe you Sundancer I was just asking an alternative viewpoint). When valuing a company after an RI you take the Market cap as per the anounnoucement date and dillute in the number of new shares as if they have no value. Therefore with dillution of 50% at 181p we are looking at a 1 third drop in the SP to 120p. I will be buying at that level. Cheers and good luck Mrs T ;-))
Yes, I suspect you'd have to open a separate account. I do if I want to do it on my Natwest platform. My husband has been trading 'virtually' with Capital Spreads and finds it OK. I will ask him to set up a dummy short on SLV tomorrow and see what kind of spread/fees/odds it gives him and report back here. Mrs T ;-))
I was pondering your post where you explained the share dilution to 120p whilst I was on a family trip out to TGI Fridays with my husband and 4 under 10's (not all mine I hasten to add!) and they all told me to get a life when I tried to discuss the maths of the Ladbrokes RI - I think they may have had a point! Anyway, whilst I can see what you are saying about the shares in circulation after tomorrow but the calculation you showed put NO value on the new shares which cost existing shareholders 95p to take up. You just said 600million at 180p was now 900 million and becoming 3 parts and not two took a third off the value..........is that right if the 3rd and extra share issue have a value of 95p? I'm sure you are right because the shares are nearer the 120p mark than the 150p mark but the maths I'm still getting to grips with. Please forgive me Maths O'level taken in 1984! ;-))
Thanks Sundancer, I get it now. I was using 2 x 180, 1 x 95 divided by 3 which makes 152p. But what you've done is way more accurate - thanks. Therefore are you saying that some will sell their RI shares because of the instant uplift from 120p to 137p? Do you have a prediction? Thanks ;-))
Moneyweek are touting LAD as its Gamble of the Week, a speculative buy at 140p with a broker target of 240p set by Daniel Stewart.
I think I'm being a bit blonde (although I'm not!) firstly I note from your post on Friday Ladbrokes say that those shareholders who take up the RI will suffer no dilution? Errrrrr, how does that work?? If the new share issue at 95p constitutes a further 50% of shares added to the market then based on price it was discounted from of 181p then with dilution the sp should be around 152p. As we can see its already drifted lower than that. From my experience of watching the effect on SP's with RI's regardless of the calculated dillution the SP always seems to drift down towards the RI price and then hang around in the dulldrums for a while. Look at STY, although a smaller share and a also having the added complication of a SP consolidation it should be trading around the £1 and its hoving in the low 30's. Doesn't makes any sense, and it becomes a waiting game. I'd appreciate your views and comments. Thanks Mrs T ;-))
I took a £2k loss on this on Friday as I am convinced it will drift downwards. Been in this one for far too long and I don't think much will be happening short/med term. I think the Ruukki deal wasn't great anyway and its failure certainly explains why SLV never found parity. Long term this one is alright IMO, but I won't be buying back in till sub 50p. In the meantime I'm happy I can recover my losses quicker elsewhere....WET,MTA, AST, LGO, GKP, KDD etc etc etc. Mrs T ;-))
Famous last words about SLV there buddy!!
Bones of its ar se.........well I've been looking at CSLT and PCF both from reading back the thread on regular. I think they could both be on a low...(famous last words!) Hey, this is good, isn't this what Premium is supposed to be about?????? Mrs T ;-))
2 s's and 1 'c' LOL! And I'm not guilty by association ACTUALLY!! I'm all for peace, love and harmony and don't wish to have a spat with anyone, including you. My contact with those individuals away from LSE was/is purely share research based and involved nothing more than that with a smattering of 'light' non-specific, non share related banter. The purpose of this site is to build relationships/trust and share information. If not what are you paying £5 per month for? It can't be just the shiny yellow rosette? Although I have to say the rosette swayed it for me! Mrs T ;-)) Mrs T ;-))
and I'm not Norb's alter ego!! PWL's and Granite Tim are not the same person. I too know both of them away from LSE, PWL's better than Granite but they are definitely different people. They are both good guys actually in the real world, not that I'm defending anyone or taking sides at all. Mrs T (terribly pleased I don't have hardly any testosterone!) :-))
£18.15 - £4.00 off at Waitrose online ;-)) Never Knowingly Undersold!
Agree re Kiddan and the 'R' word. The promise of pineapple chunks is enough to keep everyone's interest in this share.....IMO only obviously!! ;-))
Don't worry...... WET is a bit like garlic bread..................its the future.. (boom, boom) Mrs T ;-))
