Looks like another miss from team genedrive

Cash burn is high and doesn’t last long.. and with current track record it is hard to put breaks to down trend.. this would continue until we see some significant contracts signed until then it is just pump and dump..

May be you’re new to genedrive. You need dig up RNS and DB interviews for last 2 years to understand this.

in that case we need strong marketing team to create brand image and highlight our product features and performance and let the world know how best we are.
We can’t simply depend on distributors to sell

Gdr is just a research company with scientists and lab staff where they create assays and test them.

They don’t have machines to manufacture the test kits and devices. They outsource all to other companies.

They did not had sales and marketing team of their own. They rely solely on distributors until recent placing where they announced to recruit sales staff. Not sure where they are up to.

The above points are really important, if all aspects are managed by third party, the price point is hard to be competitive especially when there are plenty of companies in market.
This was classic reason why we could not sell single covid pcr test in markets we had approvals. Same is case with HCV kit, we have to manufacture and sell by ourself to be competitive.

If they want to succeed, they need change the whole business model on how they operate which cannot be achieved in a month or two..
CEO is taking a huge wage and he need to create a plan and take them there.. instead of doing placings and trust the same old model which failed repeatedly..

Not sure why lot of PI’s are interested with this study. But the company is not bothered in retweet the same to reach out to its own followers and speed up the sample collection process

Genedrive needs to generate a minimum of £12m in sales assuming 50% margin to break even other DB needs money again and would looking for investors. Don’t need rocket science to get this just common sense.

Huge pottential for products but not an easy task to generate £12m revenue. In 2020 I was planning to go long and now changed my mind and just trading it because I don’t think David Budd can do it.

looks like the interest from partners before pre approval is slowly disappearing. Same old tactics from Budd to let his boys sell their placing shares..

I agree the things are slowly getting back to normal, the new variants are getting milder and less likely to cause serious illness.
More treatments are available, Vaccines are getting better.

Following self-certification, the Genedrive® COV19-ID Kit has been passed to genedrive's Authorised Representative for formal registration, a process expected to take ten working days to complete, following which the product can be made available commercially in the European Union. In parallel, the product is being provided for review and evaluation to a range of potential commercial partners who have actively expressed interest in the product.

It is been more than a month since we received approval but still no sign of product evaluation, our commercal partners are taking longer than governament agencies. it is very sad state and looks like a repeat of things from past.

Genedrive website is also updated, the POC covid assay is moved from in development to approved and available products..

Commercial Status now says “Commercialised”

Sensitivity and specificity was 98.2% and 98.9% respectively. positive results as quickly as 7.5 minutes and negative results at 17 minutes.

I have no confidence, no reason why investors are moving away from this **** at loss. The more longer you leave it would widen your losses..

I’m happy that I sold half at 26p with 50% loss.. I still had hope that time.. looks like Budd killed it completely

Looks like bloodbath today.. 30p.. but good opportunity for some to get in cheap if self test approval lands..
