I always keep some dry powder on hand for buying the dips....sub 0.06 and I might go all in though :>)
History doesn't repeat they say, but it often rhymes. If we don't get any action after a time the price will drop until the next batch of excited posters comes in with the usual mantra...e.g. must be a leak! or this is way undervalued and news due any day or similar.... Still, on the brighter side, a Peter and the wolf scenario is likely to happen, eventually!! Even a broken clock is right twice a day GLA :>)
Yes, I can confirm that the ratification news is almost word for word what was posted in the RNS many years ago. Sadly, it's a nothingburger :)
Last person to try to mess with the Petro-Dollar was Gadaffi, and look what they did to him!!
Not financial advice anyone and please DYOR, but, having been in this share for over a decade, if not for Ghana and the established legal claim on Tano block, I would be well gone and never look back; only IMOO :)
At the time sells were being traded, 8.50am, they were selling at 0.085 - 0.086. As the 10ml sales were priced the same then they too must have been sells...that's my logic anyway :)
I would suggest just selling small amounts, say 20% and if it goes up again sell the small prophet. That way you still have a good bit in for any future rise and some cash on the side for when it goes back down....you need to take the emotions out of it and stick with the principle, that's very important part of successful investing. I bought back 10% at 0.09 and will again as it drops...its a win win if you take out the emotions GL :)
I'm puzzled that the SP hasn't risen today. There has been well over £60k worth of buys! MM's keeping it down, or hiding something, perhaps???
Jenkoo, I have been here forever and a day. Others have asked the same question and if you look back on my posts you will find all the information you may be looking for....GL :)
Admitedly, I am beginning to get nervous about selling now. Next significant drop and I'm all in. Just too many things pushing Ghana to move on this and I don't want to get caught out, GLA :)
That's a first!! I just sold a little, as I tend to do on the way up, and although my exchange sp was 0.078, they paid me 0.08. Never seen that happen before so make of it as you will GLA :)
Last time I seen all those big "unknown" trades it was the Aussies during that missed drilling opportunity. If it is, we can be sure of one thing, an RNS will come out as that company Clon is hooked up with are all about value for their shareholders. You may have noticed that we got more RNS' from Clon during that time than the previous 5 years! Should know soon enough though :)
Its hard to sell on the way up and easy to look back and say....I should have taken something when I had the chance....GLA :)
I agree Chitta. I've been here a long time and this is a different pattern than I've seen in the past..... Maybe Ghana will need to make a move on this and peeps in the know are sensing it? Who knows :)
Noticing some people having to explain certain posts just after a person I have filtered. If so then I filtered them due to obnoxious posts arguing about stuff that was nothing to do with investing. I asked him politely to stop doing it and he replied with something like "I chose what I talk about"... so I replied "well, I chose who I chat with" and filtered them.... I don't like arguing so I have no need to interact with him/her...... GL peeps :)
Usually when someone puts big amounts in and pumps the price everyone things its a leak, FOMO's in and the price pumps. Then they dump their shares and peeps are left holding the bag. It happened the other way around this time. They put a huge sum in and everyone took profits lol ;) GLA
Good call Mr. positive!! One minute im happy with it going down as I have some spare cash for the dips, next minute I am happy it is going up, as I have quite a bit still in there...win, win folks GLA :)
If anything of the past 10 or so years is anything to do with it Pat then your opportunity to sell will come again at some point. The trouble is that things always look as though they are going to keep going up and FOMO kicks in. I have never regretted selling some on the way up but usually always regret not doing so... GL :)
It appears to be taking between £5k & £8k of investment to move this share about 3 or 4%. What might some sort of positive announcement do...if that ever comes that is :)
As soon as this drops into the 0.05's I am putting my top slices back in :)
