The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
...it's perfectly obvious to anyone who has been paying attention here what is going on!!! Surely?
The thing is, with trading there comes emotions. Even though peeps swear that they will take profit the next rise, still they fall back into fomo once it happens, thinking, this is what we have been waiting for. Unless the emotion is removed, peeps don't take the profit when they know they aught to IMO :)
Yes, I tend to agree mcadder. I'll let it ride a bit and maybe top slice later :)
Again! Its getting more difficult to make a decision on whether to take profit, or, will news drop during the rise...mmmm... what to do??
I respect your viewpoint Chitta. I would also welcome hearing the thoughts of those who have been here very long term and have had similar experiences to myself. I would love to be wrong, but, I have been waiting to be wrong for a very long time now....having said that, I have done rather well while waiting as I have been taking profits to either re-invest at lower prices here or invest it in Crypto Currencies. In crypto, a bull market should begin between now and the next 6 months... have fun and GLA :)
I'm quite happy to hear the views of others on here but my own view is that Ghana is the only play here worth waiting on in the short term. We LTH have seen enough to know how long drawn out any process can be when it comes to e.g. building plants and waiting for government approval, let alone changes in the law potentially leading to government approval. For me, Clon has already dragged the Ghana issue out as long as it is possible to do and a result of some kind needs to now or never. For me, all credibility lies in this issue and if they don't pull it off then it is simply a sign of what will follow in whatever else they get involved in. In short, I don't intend waiting another 10 or 20 years on a promise, I want to see results or the rest is just hype and gibberish... just my own (informed from experience) opinion GLA :)
Has anyone considered that the Aussie's may be onboard awaiting ratification of the Tano block? Apparently, they have the drilling experience Clon need, as demonstrated in their joint venture recently....just a thought? :)
I guess you have a point Chitta, I'll keep myself to myself. Every day is a school day. As George Gurdjieff said: "we are here only to contend with ourselves, so we should thank other people for the opportunity to do so".... on that note, thank you ;)
At last, we seem to be gathering a collective wisdom here: yea'all know what to do then once the announcement is made and the heard arrives with the usual "pumping language"...e.g. its a leak, this is going to the moon, incoming TO, We will never see these low prices again, Very small MC this will be a 100x bagger.....la di da di da....... lol.... Stay awake folks ;)
Maybe they have their eye on a TO? Though I'm sure some of the big multi nationald would love to get their hands that Tano 2 sweet spot, right next to the very productive Jubilee field! Just speculation of course, not financial advice :)
With 60.000.000 shares just taking the SP to 2p and DH is a millionaire!!
Fish123, Pump and Dump is a term used to describe the use of dishonest information to make the price rise so that a profit can be made. I don't do that, ever! I have always been transparent and honest. If you look at my previous posts you will see that I try to help people form strategies to get some or all of their money back after they have been the victims of Pump & Dump.... I see it was a question and not an accusation so I hope I have answered your question satisfactorily :0)
Each time you sell high and buy low that average comes within easier reach; GL Ade217 :)
Good article , one2one! If Clon doesn't come through on their claimed asset this year, with all that is going on around the Tano basin, then I think I would need to conclude that the whole thing is a scam....let's hope, at last, they manage to pull the rabbit out of the hat GLA, especially LTH :0) x
At this point I would normally sell quite a bit, then wait for the drop and buy back in. I have being doing that with some success for years now. However, my instinct is telling me its time now to wait. Don't know how long (DYOR) but I'm getting increasingly nervous about selling in case news drops regarding Ghana. Just sharing my own strategy guys and GLA :0)
Chitta is well right about the "periodic spike". No matter what happens with ramping or de-ramping, news or no news, the one consistency with Clon has been these sudden, seemingly unprompted, spikes of 20, 30 or often even 40%. They are far and few between, but, as Warren Buffet said it "the stock market is about the transfer of wealth from the impatient to the patient". My advice, buy low and hold (patiently) for the next spike, then sell. I won't sell everything though, I leave a wee bit in JUST IN CASE!
Share price needs to come up quite significantly in order to raise money. Or, the curtain could come down....any other thoughts anyone? :)
Yes, there is no doubt in my mind that lithium will be well sought going forward, but........
Thanks Beetroot. I think your observations are very useful and hopefully this will stimulate a good response/debate from other Clon'ers. I am more than happy to reach clarity on the facts GL :)
I don't think there is any question who benefits from all this. I ask this, if you could have a career in which you were paid a large salary, got to decide your own job description, work or not work whenever you wish, guarantee yourself a good pension and all you had to do was keep a few people in hope of making their fortune and keep them there by renewing their expectations now and then with news of a new venture. If there are a few of you doing the same thing then you can take a holiday knowing someone will hold the fort while you are away, what would you do???
In that kind of scenario, the less (minimum RNS) said the better. My advice, for what its worth: Be realistic, manage your expectations and buy & sell accordingly.... happy Christmas all :)
