Icarus, I agree with your sentiment. When all the wheeling an dealing was going on with the corrupt Ghana administration, people were bribing and that was why Clon lost the block. Clon were the one who were "playing with a straight bat" and that is why they were on schedule to win the lawsuit. That is also why thy were able to make a deal which meant Clon were happy to "drop all legal proceedings". Can't see criminals behaving like that! and Zzippy, Although I would never work with the despicable rampers who appear and take innocent peoples money before disparaging, I won't deny that I do make the most of the spikes, buying back in when it drops. I also try to do as Clon has done (as far as I can see) throughout this long saga, i.e. played with a straight bat: I still genuinely hope for something bigger out of this, eventually, and will make the most of what I can in the short term, while still playing with a straight bat of course :)

Yes, I fully agree Pauly. To put things into perspective. Nothing has changed, or at least nothing that has been reported, bar the effect of Covid which caused the delay of the "positive talks" which were going on. In other words, there is no less hope than there was before, only altered perceptions. :)

Yeah I seen your posts Sam but who can blame people for jumping into what seems like a great opportunity. It's a horrible feeling when you see an SP drop like a stone after committing a substantial amount of our hard earned. The only comfort I find worth offering is another principle I work with. You haven't losed anything till you sell :)

....an AIM principle I like to work on says, if an SP rises on no news then the same no news will bring it down again :) GLA

Thanks for giving the newbies the heads up on that. Sorry to hear you didn't get in before this rise and Im sure you know better than to buy on a rise. This could be an opportunity for LTH with an average near the current SP to de-risk a bit before/if it drops down again. Word to the wise, the SP never stays high without news!!

Great stuff! Yes the usual patter with the obvious strategies lol... It's a wee test run to see if people are still watching this, which I see now they are. If the SP can still go up so easily it's a reminder of what could happen if/when the good news finally drops....as you say Pauly, more patience required GL :).......P.S. Hey Pauly, thank you for your kind sentiments. I too am well invested in here and I do feel for you and others in the same boat. In this kind of situation I guess, for me, it gets to the point that I will either get something out of this or not, with no in between. I know that, unless the company folds, I have not lost anything till I sell. If I sold now I am guaranteed a big loss, but, as you say, for now there is hope! "Heading for the lifeboat" to my mind, represents the guaranteed loss and I just think that seems like my worst option right now, which has zero hope! That is why I want people to think carefully before "running for the lifeboats" and base it on sound information and not just because someone is feeling frustrated.

I too remain hopeful and note that very little has changed here except a lack of information, but then again, is that really anything new either?

Can't say I blame you for having the feelings you are expressing here NFF. I'm just wondering, before I would think about heading for the lifeboats that is, is that advice based on anything that has happened recently? Or is it simply that the SP has dropped. If there is anything you could add I would be grateful. It's just that I am also aware that some people are invested quite heavenly here too and if they sold for the wrong reason, only to find later that the SP went back up, it may be quite devastating for them. If you have any new news, as I say, I would be grateful to hear it; thanks :)

I share outlook bridges and you have always said this is a long term hold. I am playing elsewhere too but as Clon SP drops I will be putting some of my profit in here for the future. Of course it's a bit of a risk, as is everything else, some ,more than others. But for me, Clon is a risk worth taking and will come good in the end, just a matter of time that's all GLA, DYOR and a happy Christmas :)
