Thanks A-mili, I'm actually basing what I posted on what appears in my share account. My current shares in Richland have jumped from 0.325p to 30p. It is therefore showing a very substantial amount of money in my balance this morning, enough to make ones heart skip a beat in fact. I see this as a mistake, or rather a Freudian slip! :)

OK, pending shareholder approval, on the 23rd Dec. at the AGM the company is changing it's name to Lexington Gold Limited (LEX). Shares will be consolidated 10-1. The share price looks like it will open at 30p. That means that if we calculate shares now at the current price of 0.325 and divide this by 10 then that should be what you have on 25th Nov. when the new company (LEX) begins trading on AIM. It is my guess that the price will initially drop before recovering and gradually rising. I wouldn't like to guess to what level....any ideas. This is how I understand the current situation but happy to hear other views? :)

....not sure. I called my broker and the shares are still suspended. He said that is is an error that it should be showing on my share account but it still leaves the question "is this what the share price will be when the suspension gets lifted?" I suspect it is! If so then put your seatbelts on :)

I do get that Clon have said that it is waiting ratification (by passage through parliament) as it has been all along. Its the bit that it actually says "it is with parliament" that I don't see anywhere. This seems to be more of an assumption of the words used rather than any actual statement. Even the Sept. RNS says "all legal action has been dropped and it IS BEING sent to parliament". I know its semantics here but as it has been waiting ratification all along, does it actually say anywhere that it IS with parliament? All meant with good wishes here :)

Harry, I have a couple of questions that I hope will help:
Where did you draw the information regarding Clon "waiting on ratification"? Was it from the September RNS, see below
"....The Directors believe all outstanding issues have now been resolved with GNPC on our Tano 2A Block, and understand that the signed Petroleum Agreement is now being sent to the Cabinet. All legal proceedings have been dropped and all issues resolved to our satisfaction...."

If so, how exactly are you reading this? Or perhaps there is a different source giving information on this. If anyone has any it may help to bring it all together here. I say this because things can evolve in discussion to the point they don't any longer reflect the original RNS.... worth a recap I think? :)

Hi Sam, yes there was a bit of news out of Bolivia... to borrow from Bridges recent post:

"The (Bolivia) coup upset the negotiations and delayed the MOU until now when the ousted party who made agreements with Clon are now back in". :)

OHS, I think there are two separate issues involved here. One is resolved and awaiting ratification (block 1) and then the other issue regarding Block 2A is saying the path has been cleared for Clon to recover the original co-ordinates (see below from Sept. 2019 RNS). If both are intrinsically tied together then the meetings may be to resolve this issue and all could be looked at together....just some thoughts but would be interested to hear other views from you guys? :)

Clontarf, and its partners, have also discussed with the authorities the possibility of working along with GNPC regarding the current 'Block 1' (subject to parliamentary ratification).

SEPERATELY we understand that Erin Energy Inc., a US company currently in Chapter 11, may soon relinquish or have abrogated that portion of the original Tano 2A acreage that Erin Energy Inc (formerly known as Camac Energy Inc.) was awarded in 2014 - which led to immediate legal action by Clontarf. This would open a path for Clontarf to recover all of the original 1,532km2 acreage.

That may be true DS but lithium is foreseen as being THE precious commodity for the future and as it is a limited (all be it abundant at the moment) one then manoeuvres to acquire it will increase and so will demand, especially for electric vehicles and the foreseen plans to have all homes fitted with battery storage in the future....may be longer term thinking but the demand is already increasing :)

OHS I too have been thinking the mid 3's to 0.4 is the bottom and managed to get the average down - once again!! to a cosy 0.5 after another wee slicing before the drop. No! far from it Harrystamper, well obviously not as I picked up your post. I was referring to a particular serial Clon basher who never says anything that I could actually check but just runs them down without any backup evidence. I think he must have lost a lot of money and blames one of the directors or something...anyway, sorry if I gave the wrong impression and GL :)

Yes, its good to hear the voices of those who aren't closed minded through personal grudges against the company, and who haven't been too lazy to do the proper research, as opposed to the recent resurgence of long standing Clon bashers....lol I don't usually like blocking people but, I don't like hearing bias nonsense either :)

Just to keep some perspective here: Clon's situation is uneque among many here. Clon were originally awarded the block and it was taken away illegally by the previous administration through what looks like bribes and other incentives. Clon therefore raised a legal action through the courts. Subsequently, Clon came to an agreement that WOULD allow the Ghana parliament to ratify the agreement. The deal reached "satisfied Clon" enough that they withdrew the legal action. If there was any sign of this not going forward then the question of legal action would rise once again. As it stands, the way forward has been delayed by something completely beyond anyones control; the virus! Nothing has changed and we will soon know if anything does GLA & as always, DYOR :)

The Clontarf train to the Ghana nation is about to leave the station; So, stay sober in October till the long long wait is over and let's hope the journey will ease our deep frustration..... Just some cheerie banter DYOR & GLA :)

seem to be in uncharted waters. I am wondering if peeps know from the last RNS that there will be prior warning of progress when the meetings start up again and speculating elsewhere in the meantime. I think it will move very quickly so I am staying right where I am and maybe even top up :)
