Indeed Icarus, the relationship between the MC & the SP being that the lower the MC the easier it is for the SP to move up on any incoming buys :)

I'm not going to comment on what the chances of ratification are any time soon, but, IMO, if ratification comes it is more likely to hit £1 than 1p. If you know the history of the area involved, which includes the Jubilee field, then you know this ratification of this block will attract the whales of the oil industry....for perspective. Kosmos have 24% in the Jubilee field and their SP is 326.00 A penny would happen before the news even broke IMO :)

I do share your opinion wrath that this will multi-bag on any good news, especially on the long awaited ratification on Tano 2. I don't see Clon taking that forward but they will certainly get a handsome price on any TO attempt. The low M/C means it will moonshot with any significant volume coming in. Howerver, it has been so long now since promises were made and Clon announced that a "satisfactory" outcome was reached and that the claim "IS" to be sent to parliament for ratification that peeps have lost hope. The BOD remaining silent throughout this agonising (for some) wait is beyond my comprehension to be honest....that, in my opinion, is what really makes this stink of deceit! :)

Perroverde, I don't disagree with anything you said and I don't think anything you said disagrees with anything I said either. Sure, Clon has a low market cap and next to no debt. And, sure, Ghana and Bolivia have great potential, which, incidentally, would be there whether Clon existed or not. The question there is "would you or anyone else still be willingly invested here if Clon was in debt etc....?? But, they aren't, and we are! Thank you though for answering my question about the salary, well, one of his salaries that is, as Pauly correctly alluded too!

I get your point, but one needs to do something to keep a company going and justify an executive salary. I don't mean to be deliberately cynical but we have had 12 years of "possibilities & potentials". In the meantime, DH has been enjoying a very comfortable salary...anyone know how much?? It's not a bad thing, the guy will be doing a lot of work I am sure. But one needs to be realistic in ones expectations, that's all I am saying! GLA

I do wish people would stop trying to put a positive spin on Bolivia! I wouldn't argue against Bolivia having fantastic potential for Lithium. But, no matter how good it sounds, Clon wont benefit one bit from that. The potential for Bolivia to produce is nothing to do with whether Clon has a chance to win a contract. And, in my own opinion, they don't!! Ghana however, is a different story. Clon have a legal claim to a sweet spot next to the Jubilee oil field!! That is something Clon was lucky enough to actually get a foothold in. I have no faith whatsoever in Clon's ability to actually deliver anything and neither, I am sure, has the Ghanaian government. That is besides the point though. The fact remains that under a previous administration, Ghana have given Clon a plot which is worth a fortune and they need to do something about that which will be satisfactory to both sides. Clon have stated, on record, that a satisfactory deal was reached and it WAS BEING sent to parliament for ratification. Clon subsequently dropped all legal proceedings and we now await the results. That's the reality of the situation so please stop telling us how much lithium is in Bolivia, it's all but irrelevant here!!

Next time they come around, allow them to pump it. First they ramp it up more and more, then they put a small amount in (fish to catch the whale) then as it goes up a bit people think that's it and fomo in. This makes the price spike and they pull the rug. Next time, wait and pull the rug on them instead :)

You may, or may not, have noticed that what I just posted chased away certain people as I scuppered their plan. They will forget and come back though so just be ready to play them at their own game!!! :)

Just a friendly suggestion for an exit strategy! This is about to get pumped, again! When it does, sell when it is up, then wait till it drops and buy back in. Its how you get your average down. Eventually, if it happens a few times, the pump will equal your average....think about it as it works for me...no need to reply GL :)

I'm thinking that Clon's timescales are fairly stretched out. It's been about 12 years since the court case over the Ghana oil Block was "resolved to Clon's satisfaction" and about two years since Clon reported it was being sent to parliament for ratification. Surely we must be at least past half way. If not then it may well be the next generation of politicians who need to deal with this and I will give my bottom drawer investments over to my grandchildren!!!!!!!!

The market cap on clon is so low it can move on very little money. I would imagine any announcement would cause a massive spike! Need to be watchful then!

An MOU at this stage would, relatively speaking, be a big deal! Because, as far as I can see, it would be Clon's greatest achievement, to date! :)

Maybe they gave him a lift home from Bolivia :)

Eagleeyes, I don't mean to be disrespectful, but, if people are trying to get information via email and you are the only one who seems to be getting answers, could you please ask him something more substantial than simply saying when he is now back from Bolivia. I am not saying you aren't being truthful but surely you can see how it seems odd that your emails are simply saying "I am now in Bolivia" and then "I am now back from Bolivia" without any real useful information...could he at least perhaps attach something to the email about the trip?? :)

Glad to hear that "things are all fine" for David. Did he say anything about the people whose hard earned cash is making him feel that way? When I invested in his company I expected to get something back, at least the odd update if nothing else. Could you asks him, if its not too much trouble, to tell us what exactly is happening with "our" money please!!!

Candi, I agree with the sentiment but I wouldn't get an electrician to do my plumbing, no matter how good they were, I'd prefer to get a plumber lol. Regarding lottery tickets, there is a 1 in 5 chance of winning, are you sure its the best analogy? Anyway, as I say, I agree with your sentiment; thanks :)
