I'd agree on the Kanuku wait.

Probably the only way we get a drill in 2022 is if Total takes over, anyone else would prob want to spend a year analyzing the data.

We are still in a bit of a pickle. Its sounds great to have someone like Exxon jump in and take over but Exxon has a lot on their plate, plenty of targeted sites on their current blocks to keep them busy for a long time. Any completely new player that jumps in to take lead should also want to spend time completely re-analyzing all the data. But also someone like an Exxon or Hes may be looking at how can a drill in Orinduik also help me in my other blocks. Unfortunately I see more delay. :(

Could've (and perhaps did) said pretty all of this 3 years ago. Has anything really changed yet?

I dont put much stock in articles that fail to reference the "experts." This just looks like a bit of a hit piece, couldve written the same about Hes, Total E, or other big names etc correct but they didn't.

Wasn't the first drill in the block already deemed "non commercial?"

Hopefully the only ones hurt were those silly enough to sell, gave some of us a chance to buy more at a lower price. :)

Sure Carapa is important. This will be used to refine models interpreting the 3d info. Its only the 3rd data point, and first of this type formation, for refining interpretation. Cost ~$20M to get this data and its free to ECO, so makes sense to wait and use it.
