Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Why did you specify 20 million dollar company’s?? - we are capitalised at £80 million plus
Also, the purchased shares can be held on the Orph balance sheet (in treasury) and classified as liquid assets. They can resell them back to the markets when the share price improves for an even better cash position
Loads of sells (although some of them are probably buys) going through - CF doesn't like buy backs as he thinks that it shows a Company has run out of ideas - surely £2 or £3 million in this direction is just common sense if the Company is as undervalued as he states
I sent Carol a message through LinkedIn - zero response which is particularly unprofessional as she is VP - investor relations (doesn’t she realise communication is a key part of IR)
There’s an interesting email from CF on the telegram group Moni - are you in the group??
When you say 5p Short - is that your estimation of the amount of cash??
Big bank balance / growing every month (virtually no interest received) is there a better us than buying our own shares at these prices
Ashb23 - a lot of shareholders in Aim Companies dream of their CEO just effing about growing the Company
Read the interview couple of times and CF (going against his natural exuberance) is cautiously optimistic. Maybe the catalyst for share price turnaround will be when / if they start signing Covid CT’s
Let’s hope for some more positive news next week - surely a bottom in the SP can’t be far away considering the booked revenues / cash balance / profitability etc . There is obviously negative sentiment around Aim stocks atm particularly with horror stories like ODX affecting confidence. Large holders in any stock (I am far too loaded in Orph) will have read about investors being totally wiped out and that doesn’t do the nerves any good
CF seems quiet since Xmas (his recent video discussion only talked about the Challenge studies - no general chat about the business) - I am hoping that he is working in the background on some of the (several) possibilities that could prove the doubters wrong. In my view there is more exciting news to come in the very near future but he does need to feel some heat. I have messaged him through Linkedin (politely praising the work so far but also asking for more feedback) - no reply as yet but the more peeps do the same the more he will understand the frustration we are feeling from missed deadlines and over optimistic predictions that are hurting sentiment towards the share.
Will do Moni - his concern was they couldn’t do a phase 3 as not many people have Flu.
Nathan - OK thanks for the clarification. On a wider note I don’t know why they need phase 3 trials. Once a drug is proved to be safe the paying customer will decide whether it’s worth using and thus effective
You would think that someone on the Imutex board would suggest a HCT for the Flu phase 3 trials
I received the following reply from Kimbell Duncan at Imutex
In order to advance the vaccine assets in Imutex, we need to conduct clinical trials - phase II for mosquito and phase III for flu. These require considerable investment. We are in discussions with potential partners regarding mosquito but there has been little to no circulating flu for 2 seasons so it has not been possible to design a phase III trial let alone conduct one. The pandemic has made it very difficult to conduct trials other than Covid studies but that appears to be changing now. We are always meeting with potential partners to advance the assets but during the past two years it has been difficult to raise interest in anything other than coronavirus. Cheers
Could the Malaria Challenge trial approval be part of the de coupling process
I sent them an email saying I represented a large number of Orph shareholders (sorry for the exaggeration) and told them to get moving - no response yet but every little helps
I used to look forward to Monday’s thinking this may be the week when we start to re rate. Now it brings on a wave of anxiety
JB - how many times have you repeated the same stuff??
