Judging by previous news flow I am expecting DIM to be floated giving existing Orph shareholders 2 DIM shares for every 3 Orph shares owned (or thereabouts) as opposed to the Poolbeg which was a 1 for 3. There is obviously a concern re raising funds with new shareholders as they worry that some existing Orph shareholders will offload immediately and the price will crash (hence the lock in period for PLB) So perhaps a solution would be to offer existing Orph shareholders an additional opportunity to buy extra shares in DIm as a mechanism for raising funds and to encourage more loyalty to holding on.
That’s the problem with Poolbeg - there is no pent up buying, only pent up selling which doesn’t bode well for the share price post March
Would you go to the right presentation Ear? Just be careful in case Ophazyme are presenting next week !!!
How do you know the seller (chunky) is weight challenged??
And bang on cue another wretched tick down.
I can almost hear Earwax typing away for another few hundred words on why CF has done a terrible job (3.5 x in less than 2 years) but he is still holding for the uplift when CF resigns
did he allude to 60p by Christmas - he said news by Christmas ' you won't be disappointed' but i couldn't make out the 60p number??
Revenues £50m without Covid
Down by a fraction of a penny - surprised we haven't had Earache on here telling everybody that we're doomed - but he is still holding on the basis that the largest individual shareholder might resign or get sacked
Wonder - I think Earache has around 60k of shares left but your argument is still valid - he obviously can't find a better home for his money tied up in Orph shares - quite bizarre considering how negative he has been about Orph which is one of the reasons peeps don't take him seriously.
Ali was never referred to as Mo so I’m still backing Salah - i wonder if Earache has a (long winded) alternative view
There is no greater Mo than Mr Salah himself
Otherwise know as Earache shows his face again when the SP retreats and claims that his forecasts and Company analysis has been vindicated. Will he come back and say he was wrong if the SP turns back up? Don’t hold your breath
Brig - when you say low profitability - have you checked the turn around from the previous year????
Most of us are aware of CF’s shortcomings - mainly over excitement painting the best possible outcome that subsequently gets missed (hence disappointment reflected in the SP) The fact is that substantial progress has been made including a 240% improvement in Turnover / better margins and EBITDA profitable (compared to a previous huge loss) On top of that we have a Poolbeg Divi and more to come - these are facts that our friend chooses to ignore
I read there is a shortage of Clowns - Earache your time has come
Decent summary Sky and similar to my own views - I think that one or two of the spinoffs could fly - my 2 favourites are DIM and Poolbeg as both are relatively low Capital usage
There have loads of sellers over the last weeks / months - you do wonder how many non believers there are left still to sell - hopefully not too many
Ryan - your summary is the same level I am at - a low risk with lots of controls / safeguards etc. I am definitely too heavily invested (mainly from the 6p level) and will reduce over the next 12 months - the spin outs help with risk spreading
Very heavily invested here but I do worry that something will go wrong with a challenge study and they are halted by govt. Any thoughts out there??
The majority of the turnover is non Covid and margins improved from 4% to 28% - do you check facts before you post??
