45p to buy more than 100 shares

had just appeared 24-Oct-14... 12:13:44.... 45.00p... 100,000... Buy* 41.00p... 42.00p... 45.00k really does look as if the buy back is under way.

dividend has now been paid into my Interactive Investor account ( earlier than I had expected)

RNS 1:40pm today JQW plc, a domestic Chinese B2B e-commerce operator, is pleased to announce that the Group has today paid its maiden interim dividend of 0.2 pence per share (approximately RMB 3.9 million in total) as well as a special dividend of 5.0 pence (approximately RMB 97.7 million in total) to shareholders on the register at the close of business on Friday, 26 September 2014.

I have not received my divi yet and do not expect to until next week (Interactive Investor) but at least 5 posters on ADFVN have received their divi today. Very good news and just as I anticipated.

Yes I am expecting the divi - last mention of the divi. was in the Sep.25th RNS where it said "The interim dividend as well as the special dividend will be payable around 23 October 2014..." The last divi to be paid was announced in the 29th April finals "The maiden final dividend will be payable on 14 July 2014" On another bulletin board, the first poster to mention receiving the divi said they received it on about 16th July,another poster had to wait several more days - depends on the broker it seems.

The fundamentals are very attractive. Rapidly rising profits. p/e of about 4 when it should be at least 20. The about to be paid dividend is at about a 15% level at the present sp. 5.2p divi to be paid around 23rd of this month - see 9th Sept RNS.

sshafique - I assume you have done your research and studied the various RNS - see http://www.investegate.co.uk/Index.aspx?searchtype=3&words=jqw IPO was last December at 70p and it has been as high as 90p but that sell off over the past few months - which was in default of the ipo agreements - has driven the sp and investor confidence down. The last 100k plus were about 3 weeks ago but private investor anxiety pushed the sp down further to bottom about a week ago. It then started drifting up to about 35p when the RNS came out on Wednesday saying that the seller who had been in default of the ipo agreements had agreed to buy the shares back. That caused the sp to spike to 50p but it has fallen back to about 36p because there was no immediate buy back action and short term traders were able to make a quick buck. It will be fascinating to see how the share buyback is achieved and when and over what time scale. The fundamentals are very attractive. Investors need to be assured that this is a bona fide company and that will take time - particularly as it is a Chinese company. ( It has of course been developing as a private company over a period of 10 years or so.) When mms and investors are assured that it is what its accounts say it is and it becomes traded more, liquidity will return and the sp will fluctuate less. It reminds me of plus500 in its first few months after the ipo - another internet company with rapidly rising profits but it took a few months for the investors to realise what good value it was. Plus500 however did not suffer from an "illegal" sell off of shares. (An Israeli company.) From the interims RNS "Although the board would not expect that the strong growth recorded in H1-2014 will materialise again in H2-2014, it is confident that the Group will achieve its full year targets." So this does not say that H2-2104 revenue is likely to be less than H1-2014. It does however suggest to me that they do not expect the increase in revenue on going from H1-2014 to H2-2014 to be as large as the increase in revenue from H2-2103 to H1-2014. JQW is a well established company. In my opinion the sp will increase to something sensible in due course once the sell off has finished. Divi. return at the present sp of about 17% if the special divi is included.

78p paid - even more of a turnaround - taking positions before the prelims on 13th "The Company enjoyed a strong second half performance which has led to a fifth profit upgrade this financial year. The preliminary results for the year ended 30 June 2014 will be released on 13 October 2014 and will show revenues and pre-tax profit ahead of expectations that were last updated in June."

Today at 13:16 there was a 37.5k trade at 39.1p and at 13:17 there was a 100k trade at 40p so the 100k trade looks to have been a buy. Buys started today at 40.6p and the day ended with a string of buys also at 40p.

10% special divi. Someone, presumably distressed, has been offloading heavily to bring this to 10p below the IPO price of 70p. Maybe this has now been cleared - we shall see. On 23rd July Numis rerated EAS from 380p to 530p - so almost a 40% increase.
