lucentum - good to see that the last low quality auction, which was at Lusaka in April 2013, netted no less than USD 15.2 million. The previous low quality auction - back in June 2012 in Jaipur - netted USD 9.0 million. For the record, the price per carat in Jaipur was slightly higher than in Lusaka but that might have down to the average quality of the stones rather than auction location. I think the market has been surprised by how successful the Lusaka auctions have turned out to be - personally I was not surprised... I like this extract from the RNS "also reduces the annual capital repayment from over $3.3m pa to $1.0m pa." - surely that has to be significant for a company which had a 2012 pretax profit of £2.7million ( up from £0.74 mill 2011) Good to see other recent positive RNS too.

VERY ENCOURAGING , via today's RNS, to see that 16/1-16 has come good as that 22nd Nov RNS - Preliminary drilling results from the ongoing PL457 Asha Noor exploration well (16/1-16) - was not especially cheering. I see that news took the Oslobors down from 11.50 to 9.50 and AIM from 125p to 103p on the day.

Good to see the sp bouncing back today. Interested in your thoughts Ericeric on a Pallinghurst buy out if the Faberge deal is not voted through. GEM has recently been very good at promoting coloured gemstones and the Faberge deal takes that promotion a very significant step further. I wonder who has been so good at that recent promotion. Much more likely to be a Pallinghurst team than a GEM team? Maybe Pallinghurst developed the plan of eventually merging GEM and Faberge some five years back?

good to see the 466k buy yesterday share price rising steadily now the Barrick Divestiture is behind us HGM was tipped by IC about 3 weeks back this RNS is decidedly reassuring!

someone is accumulatiing - three c. 400k trades above the ask - two yesterday pm at 116p and one late the day before. Interestingly the uncrossing trade yeaterday 4.35pm was down so candlesticks say sell! Tricky mms?
