Fairview...drilling at Barns is complete and we await the results. Fingers crossed!

“A programme notification was submitted to the Department of Energy and Mining (DEM) for a total of 18 RC holes at the Barns deposit (Proposed Stage 3), which has been approved, and 2 holes have been completed so far. These 18 holes are planned to increase the definition and extent of the known Barns JORC resource, which currently stands at 104,000 ounces using a 0.5g/t gold cut-off grade, as well as to test a thesis that there may be a possible connection between the Barns deposit and the White Tank deposit”.

Christo....if I remember correctly 79m of the extra shares were part of the £1.5m raised with the CLN’s. If that’s the case then 28m warrants at 2p so an extra £560,000 from the warrants so yeah pretty much bang on the £2m.

On reflection is was pretty bad crack to release these results on Christmas Eve! It’s not the end of the world and there’s a lot more important issues needing tackled globally but this is a pretty *****y Christmas present to give to shareholders!

Let’s not delude ourselves, the results were terrible but not every drilling campaign is going to be a success. We need some dud holes so they can figure out exactly where the mineralisation is.

I’m sure the board are also disappointed and now I can understand why they didn’t use up the 10,000m of drilling. Now they have results back they can use the remaining 3,500m to target areas that will hopefully come up trumps.

What worries me is how low the sp is going to go until the next set of results as there won’t be any news as far as I know that will encourage buying until those results are released.

Also looks like they didn’t get ADI funding as that was supposed to be announced/decided in November.

Chinsontour...what we need to keep in mind there’s been 102,000,000 shares added from May 2020 (187m) to December 2020 (289m) so effectively 55% dilution in 6 months.

For the price to be holding around 2.5p I think the SP has shown excellent resilience and only takes the first 20% of drilling results into account.

If the remaining results are as good (hopefully better!) then I can see the price doubling up to 5p end of January.

More options available around the 4p mark which I’d imagine will be taken up diluting us again but putting more funds into the exploration budget therefore minimising any raising needing to be done until end of 2021 but still allowing for a comprehensive drilling campaign.

CM stated in one of his interviews a few months back it would take around a year to prove up 1m oz so around October 2021 to achieve that goal.

At this point I’d imagine the SP will be around 10p minimum with a market cap roughly £38m (380m shares in issue with options/warrants throughout 2021).

IF the above comes to fruition 4 bagger in 10/11 months!?

IF they strike an IOCG target market cap around £150m or 40p!!!! (Maybe!)

Josepi...I think the problem is that Nick has made it perfectly clear what his vision for the company is and that’s trying to take Alpala to production and shifting SolGold from explorer to explorer/developer/miner.

And there’s the rub! Some are willing to wait for that outcome others want a quicker return on their investment. NM hasn’t been disingenuous it really can’t be clearer what his intentions are.

Many investors don’t believe he can achieve his goals and the thought of having to wait 5/6 years before production commences (add another 1/2 years onto that probably) is frustrating shareholders.

If Nick can negotiate financing to develop Alpala then his objectives are pretty clear, it’s the uncertainty whether the funding and how the funding will be structured is what’s holding back the SP.

I think given Nick Mather’s character he will dig his heels in even more after yesterday’s outcome from the AGM and will be even more determined to push through his goals of becoming a developer/miner.

At the end of the day shareholders are either with him or against him willing to support his goals and it’s quite obvious the “big” 3 shareholders absolutely don’t want to see Alpala developed unless they have their sticky mucky paws with a controlling stake in the project to reap the rewards!

Any word from Warren Irwin on the AGM results? Or is he still picking up his toys from last time to then throw them out of his pram again!? “Nick Mather will be gone 2019, definitely end of 2021, mark my words” or something to that effect! Oops! Tell you what Warren why don’t you sell up and shut the **** up and show some humility and start rounding up your cronies to rummage behind the sofa for €450m by 2021/2022!!

Would be nice to get an update on what the 2021 plan is for Cobra before the year ends. If all the drilling has been completed and we’re just waiting on assay results hope the team haven’t decided to take an extra long festive break and are beavering away planning for next year!
