Just in case anyone would like to know the basics of Bushveld Minerals:

- Bushveld Minerals are a mining business mining vanadium which is used to strengthen steel
- Vanadium is also used in a breaking electrolyte technology used in large energy storage batteries
- Bushveld Have two processing plants Vametco and Vanchem - currently producing a combination of 4160 mtV, in last year with an average selling price of circa US$40 per kilo with an operation coast of circa US$19
- Bushveld has plans to more than double the capacity of these two plants to 8400 mtV pa within 3 years
- Bushveld has 3 mines Vametco in operation, Brits and extension to Vametco and Mokopane which has the licence for mining in progress which happens to be the largest high-grade Vanadium mine in the world
- Bushveld has built up a new division called Bushveld Energy which has partnerships with Avalon, REDt and Enerox GmbH
- Bushveld Energy has installed at the Eskom Battery Test facility a VRFB which has been operational over a year which is being used for evaluation purposes
- Bushveld Energy is in the process of building a Vanadium Electrolyte plant in East London (SA)
- The Electrolyte plant will eventually have the capacity for 1000MWh of electrolyte
- 1000MWh of electrolyte needs approximately 5000 mtV per year
- Bushveld Energy is working with multiple partners around the world through Vanitec to build the strong business case for VRFB
- The world supply chain for vanadium remains in deficit and although other projects around the world are in planning so far Bushveld is ahead of the other players in every respect

In the end there will be multiple contracts around the world and there will be enough opportunities for each technology to make multiple businesses multiple millions of dollars. The is not enough of any one mineral and resource immediately available to solve the global climate crisis today, let alone the will to achieve it. The world has the knowledge though!

Our technology as multiple advantages for a specific market which happens to be huge and if Bushveld Minerals, Avalon-Redt, CellCube Energy, Enerox, StorEnTech, Sumitomo, Think VRB, UET, VandiumCorp VRB, Voltstorage, VRB Energy, VSUN Energy, XRG Vanadium, all work together with Vanitec all working at chipping away with top marketing, slick presentations and demonstrate to the energy market that our systems can delivery low life costs over the life of operation as well as ability to be easily recycled at end of life, they will tick more boxes and take a larger share of the market. Focusing on certain 'experts' may not help. But getting the procurement project mangers in energy companies on board, well that is the key to unlocking success.

That is why a project as large as Dallian VRFB (200MW/800MWh) is such a poster project for the VRFB industry as it is huge. Unlock the reasons for the procurement of such a project and you have a compelling argument.
We have as the CEO of Bushveld Energy, Mikhail Nikomarov, the chairman of Vanitec. We have our fingers in 2/3 VRFB businesses. No company is better prepared to help the industry develop.

Australia is doing a great job with VSUN Energy, who are winning contracts and have great marketing selling various makes of VRFB's, and are building a compelling market which will help them build the Australian Vanadium mine. There is a lot of synergy and mutual support with Bushveld Minerals. Why, because the players know there is a story to be told and they know the world market over the next 10 to 20 years is massive and is there to be untapped.

So keep positive we were a key player in this opening market, we have a safe product, a product which can have its life extended and projects which are easy to expand, and right know we have the ability to produce the lowest cost products in the market outside of China.

Bushveld Minerals and Bushveld Energy will succeed, be of no doubt.

It makes you wonder how high this could go. If it has the ability to generate constant strong revenues from a large fund basis, it could grow to a very attractive value.

The solar power portal, look to work with NEC who are a US based but global Energy Storage Systems provider. The bad news is they use Lithium Ion systems.
So a little work may be required to help open the eyes of the Solar Power Portal team to the benefits of VRFB!
I wonder though how many of the large Lithium Ion ESS providers are open to looking at alternative systems like VRFB so they don’t need to worry about two stage fire suppression, thermal management systems and life of product. The VRFB solves all these issues, gives 3 times the life and the electrolyte recycling is key advantage.
With the any other Flow Battery the big question is can you use the electrolyte again and again? With Vanadium electrolyte you can. It maybe that vanadium electrolyte could be proven to last from 30 to 100 years? This could turn out to be a key unique selling point (USP).
The key for Bushveld Mineral, and the other VRFB manufacturers and Vanitec is getting current Lithium Ion battery system builders to open up to new technology and actually educate the energy world. The worlds CEO’s are always looking to make sure they have the right technology with market leading selling points.
This would open multiple opportunities for Vanadium producers like Bushveld to sell into and for Bushveld Energy to open up new VIP opportunities, I am sure the sales team in BE will be looking at the open field once we have the Electrolyte plant operational. For me this could become an international opportunity with Electrolyte plants around the world with first tier or even hole in the wall operations.
The opportunities are endless for us.

I would imagine most investors today are very happy with the solid progress here today. If an RNS lands with momentous news then this has huge potential for very solid growth. It will be very interesting to see the companies the fund includes and how much income the fund will generate back to the business over time. I can’t find much information on this currently.
Any feedback from current well researched investors would be appreciated.
But a good start to my investment here so far.

The future is here!

Bella, the key will be simulating a life span to show that 20 to 30 years is real. Seeing the depth of charge drop is so small over time and with the low life running costs with no thermal issues. That is the system can run the same performance at 0C and 50C without and performance differentials and you have a global energy storage system.
This will be underlined many times over the years ahead. Having listened to the Minigrid presentations today I think life is going to be a very important consideration to energy providers!
This really looks like the best tech currently known for the critical 4 to 8 hour duration energy storage solutions and a very competitive life cost and low Opex!
The time is coming and 2020 is destined to be the year VRFB move to the next big step.

The bad news for shorters, I have some cash and if you try to drop the price, I will make loads out our your soft attempts, by buying the dips. I am not the only one here ready to pounce so sell away shorters.

The fundamentals of this business shine very brightly - this company is fully charged!

The income streams are clear and any rise in Vanadium prices is going to give this a kick.

I fully expect to see a very positive Q4 result as Vametco have been producing record amounts of production. See Q3 figures!

You have had a very tough year and your support and time focused on here through everything is much appreciated. You are one of the people amongst the number of very long term holders who gave me confidence to increase my holdings in 2017 and that was one of the best decisions of my life.
This story truly is no half told but the progress since March 2017 is superb and the decisions so far by the Board of Directors have brought us to a very strong company which is currently like a seed breaking into a growing plant. Given the political situation in SA there thoroughly thought out and inspired business building have set the company on an incredible path and we can see the need for safe, reliable energy storage and we have business which is becoming the centre of a world, which has not quite discovered what we have.
If this was a top show, we have the best seats in the house!

I do wonder if we are all being rather conservative on the percentage of the market share. 30% of Battery Storage from Lithium. I think you are right, Lithium has had its day in large energy storage projects, they just don't last long enough. If in the US and California they are saying this, the home of Tesla, then you can be sure the world needs to look more closely at VRFB's!
2020 to 2022 will be the time that VRFB starts to be the main player in Grid and Renewable projects. Even Voltstore are looking at becoming the largest by number of VRFB in 2020. Of course, they are small domestic ones but there marketing is strong on no fire risk and they are competing against the Powerwall so expect to see a VRFB in your garage soon!

We are going to be providing a lot of V205 in the years ahead!

VSUN states that energy storage capacity is expected to grow to 185 GWh over the next few years, and Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries want to capture 30 per cent of this market particularly in the large-scale commercial and grid-scale storage markets. According to the company, their flow batteries are suitable for storing large amounts of energy (particularly renewable energy) for later use, and are not prone to the thermal runaway known to occur with Li-ion batteries. A look at the US Department of Energy’s Global Energy Storage Database shows that Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries are involved in a wide number of projects.
