Odd how someone with no idea, suddenly becomes an authority on V prices and the impact on Bushveld.

The profit of a company is dependant on the profit made by that company, not by the price that others sell their products at, in another market. Very simple really. It should be noted that Bushveld has an agreement with Wogen, does it not, for global sales.

However, the majority of Nitrovan that Bushveld Minerals produces goes to the United States and is sold for a premium, so the European price has very little bearing on us.

It is remarkable that we have had this week so strong buys in sequences and yet the SP does seem so locked down.

The number of buys over 30k shares must have well exceeded the number of sells. We seem locked in the 20.5/21 range.

You would think that if the MM's wanted to make some money and get people trading in then the would let the SP rise, especially given the rises in Vanadium prices.

Still, the news is coming very soon, so this January sale cannot continue much longer. Soon the 2020 price increase will come and where will it stop 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 or even 80p per share.

Falling energy storage costs, coupled with the ongoing adoption of renewable energy in key markets, will encourage co-location at an unprecedented rate. Solar-plus-storage is now increasingly common in the U.S.: NextEra – a major U.S. electricity company – had a 50% attachment rate for energy storage as part of its new solar pipeline in 2019. The U.S. is leading the way largely because of the country’s policy mechanisms. Companies can benefit from the federal Investment Tax Credit (ITC), which offers a credit of up to 26% for solar-plus-storage projects. Congress’s failure to pass a similar bill for standalone energy storage in December 2019 cements the bond between the two technologies. Interesting TanzanianDevil - so 20GW is 80GWh (4 hours) which in terms of Vanadium if the shortfall was made up of VRFB would be only 400,000 mtV - over 800,000 tonnes of V205 or 5.2 million litres of vanadium electrolyte - now who could supply that....

Just in case anyone would like to know the basics of Bushveld Minerals:

- Bushveld Minerals are a mining business mining vanadium which is used to strengthen steel
- Vanadium is also used in a breaking electrolyte technology used in large energy storage batteries
- Bushveld Have two processing plants Vametco and Vanchem - currently producing a combination of 4160 mtV, in last year with an average selling price of circa US$40 per kilo with an operation coast of circa US$19
- Bushveld has plans to more than double the capacity of these two plants to 8400 mtV pa within 3 years
- Bushveld has 3 mines Vametco in operation, Brits and extension to Vametco and Mokopane which has the licence for mining in progress which happens to be the largest high-grade Vanadium mine in the world
- Bushveld has built up a new division called Bushveld Energy which has partnerships with Avalon, REDt and Enerox GmbH
- Bushveld Energy has installed at the Eskom Battery Test facility a VRFB which has been operational over a year which is being used for evaluation purposes
- Bushveld Energy is in the process of building a Vanadium Electrolyte plant in East London (SA)
- The Electrolyte plant will eventually have the capacity for 1000MWh of electrolyte
- 1000MWh of electrolyte needs approximately 5000 mtV per year
- Bushveld Energy is working with multiple partners around the world through Vanitec to build the strong business case for VRFB
- The world supply chain for vanadium remains in deficit and although other projects around the world are in planning so far Bushveld is ahead of the other players in every respect

Thanks, pb940 - these constant reminders of how large this industry is going to be, underline our convictions of this amazing investment and the upside global opportunity as one of the worlds largest vanadium producers. There is still no reason for us not to expect that VRFB will not take a solid share of the energy storage market. This constant media push is good news.

This is not a surprise given one of the Chinese plants is on maintenance which will result in a shortfall of 1000 tonnes of V205. Let us hope though this opportunity to raise the price actually holds. Prices in Europe have been rising bit by bit too.

This bodes well for increases in revenue for Bushveld just as they start their own program to increase production capacity!

Just to confirm the two £10K trades at 11:15 and 11:16 are both buys (one shown as buy, one as shown a sell).

Amazing a few years ago 8 x £10K buys had some serious effect. Today none! But the good news is when the news flow starts we are ready. Still some in reserve just in case the MM's play more games.

Pdub, message load and clear! The Vanadium world is about to turn hot! Bushveld Minerals looks likely to be the next recipient of strong news flow and a super positive rebound in company value and revenue! Has there been a better time to consider investing?

Looking at the trading on here, it looks like a strong start then 'selling all day' but two huge 127 after hours buys at 21p?? (don't you love those MM's - all love and charity those boys :)

I wonder how much buying with would take to really give this a kick up. There are signs across all markets the Vanadium pricing is just moving a tad upwards. We will all be very satisfied with that news. There is a lot of positivity coming from the industry. Largo clearly are having a good day with very well presented figures and their Sp remains so far up over 13% with a very strong morning. Strong figures and a growing Vanadium price is a good combination. Add in a dose of Energy Storage interest around the world and the vanadium market looks in a good place.

I am feeling actually very excited by the potential for our Q4 update with close to record figures for the quarter likely and I am sure our sales price for the quarter will be higher than some have considered factoring the Nitrovan product and our clients.

Now add into this mix the soon to be completed Enerox purchase by the Bushveld Energy consortium and news on the business forecast for 2020 and this month may well finish in a very strong and for some unexpected way. So look up folks, I think this year might just blow some peoples minds!

We will see an RNS when the FTSE is alerted. Not when someone buys and sells one share!

But today is a bit of a roller coaster or a wave form....

Not able to buy at the level required. Grrr!
