March has been significant each year as news flow is strong and some of our most important news items have arrived at this time. This year will include Bushveld Minerals financial report for 2018 and likely the most significant news will be the dividend policy which will be a huge influence for new investors as well as potential fund managers to consider adding BMN to their funds.

Well Ophidian, when our good friend Pdub returns we will need to have a VUP weekend! That would be very fair. We all miss his encouragement and informed posts.

We all wish him a very speedy recovery after his surgery. I really hope he is getting the same care that my Claire is receiving here in the Leicester ITU department.

Mrremmy, I am sure you are right. With limited Lithium supplies the best choice would be VRFB for all ground located storage solutions and Lithium Ion should be focused on portable applications.

If this was to play out and clearly it would be very sensible then Bushveld Energy would become one of the most significant players in the world as the market grows and this will yet again this influence many new investors to see the truly massive potential for Bushveld Minerals.

I am off now to see how my good lady is progressing. She is still in intensive care. But she is doing remarkably well.

- Bushveld Minerals is making a huge profit every week - well over £1 million (with 2018 accounts due in March)
- They have resolved the Vametco mine throughput issues and control by ramification in structural management and
maintenance
- They have an initial production target in 2019 of 3200 to 3400 mtV with upside potential!
- Vanadium pricing is holding well in Q1 and is likely to rise now the Chinese New Year is over!
- BMN have two key products being shipped (60% to the US where FeV prices are strongest) Nitovan 12 and Nitrovan 16 (both superior products to standard 80% FeV as they only need 600 grams per tonne rather than 1000 grams per tonne)
- Bushveld Energy is running final settlement tests days with their VRFB at Eskom. The full 90-day evaluation of the 120kW/450kwh VRFB at Eskom is underway. It is working well as witnessed by the recent investors visit.
- Bushveld Energy is confident that the successful completion will bring significant contracts to Bushveld Energy
- Bushveld Energy is proceeding with the pilot plant for Electrolyte at Vametco with there own vanadium grade
- New Electrolyte plant estimated with $10 million is funded already in partnership with the IDC and this will have the facility for electrolyte and VRFB manufacturing on its site in East London SA production ready for the end of Q1 2020
- The switch to Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries has won much praise from the SA Government who are promoting the needs for mining and other industries to switch to renewables and energy storage

Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries - What do you know?

Advantages of VRFB:

Applications of VRFBs

I would like to remind everyone that this company has set up a great base to build a very powerful and dominant vanadium business.

Let's remember we have a producing Vanadium Mine Vametco with a huge high-quality resource which will be supplying around 3400 mtV this year. The mine itself has a minimum life of around 30 years. However next door they have the Britts reserve which has got similar high-quality resource and the logs have demonstrated that the reserve here is huge and high quality. This means the mine can be extended easily straight across and supply the existing process plant. It should also be remembered that close by is a processing plant which could be bought and put into service very economically and this is clearly in view for the BOD. This in itself is a massive mining and process capacity at there fingertips which is easily funded from the profits the business is making right now. All that is incredible if there was nothing else and only the steel industry which has a severe shortage of vanadium.

But Bushveld has the Mokopane project which has the potential to become the largest vanadium mine in the world with output potential to exceed any other mining project on the planet. When the mining license comes this will be a massive boost to the potential here.

In the meantime, we are breaking ground in the energy storage market with Vanadium Redox Flow batteries and primarily producing vanadium-based electrolyte from our own supply. This hedges any costs and gives massive added value to the business. When you consider as we have how large this market is then it is one of the smartest moves ever. It was recently mentioned that 8000 MWh of energy storage may be needed right now in South Africa. Well that would require around 40,000 mtV to build those VRFB. If that played out, our market is very secure and our future very bright indeed for a stable and reliable solution which would have a huge payback on investment for South Africa and the local economy based on reliable electricity supply and potential cheap source through renewables it is a massive win situation.

CC - That is so funny. That is exactly what has happened to me many times and I can't stop laughing!

Knuttie is hysterical and so subtle..

I am still thinking about the beginning of March. Only because they need to be reporting that the Eskom Battery is now in its "x" week of testing, this is more positive, than we have just completed final commissioning. Also if they can confirm that the environmental study at ELDZ is completed would be a very good report for us. That may not be finished though, as it was not due to 2nd Q 2019. But the 2019 game plan for BE laid out would be very helpful for investors.

However, as Pdub has said there are times when it would be good to have the Quarter report and then some extraordinary news which would be a positive feedback to all holders.

I am pleased to see we are close to finishing level today after the morning dip.

For me, the potential I have outlined many times and once we understand the dividend policy next month we will be able to see clearly how this can play out. But with potential annual dividends at values exceeding today's SP if everything plays out, you could ask yourself could I live on an income equal today's value of your shareholding. If you are using this investment to grow your pension potential. If you could then I guess you might not be selling, any and likely reinvesting some back in, as opposed to pulling it all out on each dividend. Besides you only need so much each month?

Everyone's path and ideas will be different. But holders with significant numbers of shares will likely be thinking in a similar way unless you have an ambition to buy a Caribbean Island ;-)

Times are exciting. But let's see it play out, there are a few more years ahead before this is really in the big time.

BBN - You are right it is visionary!

When we piece everything together the vision we have is something that clearly has every aspect set to become a reality and when it does all this day traders can play there games but our patience will be well rewarded.

It happens on most companies where people trade up's and downs. In the end, our focus is seeing this company deliver a company which will be the envy of the vanadium world, deliver even more phenomenal profits and be paying out a significant dividend which will be a great return of any of our long term investors both here and in South Africa.

Our fundaments have not changed, our drive is not gone, the foundations are set, the South African government are fully supportive, the Energy Storage Industry is ready to take their industry to the next level and we are right in the center of this world and part of the global team in the VRFB market.

It is a dream position to be in. We have the insight, investors need a little patience and worry less about daily ups and downs.
Some may even want to try and trade small percentages of their holdings, but it has risks and it may have rewards. But everyone has there own choices. I am very happy to buy and hold and go with the growth as it comes.

We know what is coming and we know the potential is massive.

This company has always been visionary and we have been able to spot it!

You are quite right. The great news is my Claire has made yet another step forward in her recovery. Today she has had 3 walks and covered over 600m at a slow pace. It is remarkable! She has very few bits she is connected to now. She has a real determination. I don’t think it will be long and she could be out on a ward. But when she is ready and they are happy.
So good news there and of course great to see us back with daily rises, which we knew would come.
Thanks my friend and also the support from everyone on the board. It is truly appreciated and my Claire reads some of the comments. Not to be forgotten she is a silent holder with nearly 400k of shares. Not that she even thinks about it. She has plans like Knuttie to help people with any gains. She is selfless!

Alfa, you are definitely correct every piece of the story is coming together perfectly.

There are many aspects that can give new investors great confidence that BMN is a great long term investment. Fortune has only just repeated and is still insisting that our story is still not half told! I am starting to think that it might not be a quarter told. When you visualise the up and coming potential, the numbers blow the mind.

I am seriously expecting The Mokopane mining license to be agreed in 2019 and that is the most significant vanadium project on the planet. There are more clues on this than we have ever seen. The news is getting very hot indeed.

Good afternoon one and all!
I just had to double check this was the BMN board. I thought I had opened the TECA board my mistake!
When I saw 7.6% increase I knew I was in the right place.
So I have been pleased to find out some significant news yet again. There is great news from BMN from Chika that the has been no disruption at the plant due to the load shedding and they are not expecting to be effected. News items on our watch list are getting closer. March is looking very strong indeed. I am sure once the news flow starts we will never see below 50 pence again.
So in my humble opinion we can expect to see the rise continue on.
Hopefully we will continue to have great discussions here on the unfolding story.

Vanadium prices remain stable at US$76-78/kgV

Ferro-vanadium prices remain stable at US$76-78/kgV in Western Europe (FastmarketsMB)
Small lots sold in Europe include 5t sold at $78/kgV and 10t sold at $76.7/kgV.
Antimony prices also remained stable at US$7,700-7,900/t in Rotterdam perhaps helped by further delays to commissioning at the SPMP antimony roaster in Oman.
