Where will the price end up, we don’t know, but it is likely to be multiples of pounds if VRFB technology is taken up by the worlds energy suppliers.

Sanchez, you are right. There have been no actual project anouncemtnets which would lead anyone to think that any new supplier is coming into the market from a new mine anytime soon. The other consideration is for many of them this low vanadium price (even though it must be short-lived is a huge stumbling block for them. If you were funding a project you would want to see stable prices to guarantee you would get your money back when lending upwards of 200 to 300 million dollars for a new plant.
Until the purchase of new plant is confirmed for those projects those deadlines will just drift.
Our situation is looking stronger and stronger.

I am sure you are right in every respect. For your daily drive they are perfect. I know with the old scheme with free use of the chargers it makes good sense.
The distance limitations for me with some days reaching 250 to 280 miles with multiple client meetings the range limitations and loading 40 minutes on a charge is not helpful. The days will come though.

Alfa, I am sure you are correct, referring back to your earlier post.
There is likely to be many more ICE fires as a total number, but the data on a ratio from numbers of ICE fires against EV fires against the number on the roads.
There is no doubt that currently for zero emissions on the road, the Lithium Ion powered cars are the way if you only travel 200 miles per day or less which is the majority. I think the Jaguar iPace is the pick of the bunch right now, but it just needs to be £20K cheaper. Tesla definitely get very warm as I experienced before as they go into a slow mode to cool down. The iPace does not have this issue and it is a whole load more fun to drive (from a test drive experience).
For me, to make these cars suitable for business people they need a range of 350 to 400 miles. Of course, we then need a suitable 150kW charger at home backed up by our "Home VRFB" charged through our "solar tiles" on the roof all of which every new home in the UK should be fitting as standard and every other home should be incentivised to install!
Then we should have EV Buses, Lorries and taxies. Lastly we need a solution to intercontinental travel at high speed without the need for jet engine aircraft. Our sky would be so much bluer. Do we all remember the Iceland Volcano eruption when flying was banned, the sky was so blue with no vapor trails?
A low carbon world will take time, but it can happen, and it most likely will.
Our VRFB technology will be a major contributor.

Whilst we are taking of ridiculous predictions I have set multiple forward sell targets for our lovely MM's to hit. I won't share them all but, there is one at £4.72 recently predicted by a US tipster and one at £15 (that will sell all I own!). I feel they need a target upwards and they want my shares they need to be lifting the price not dropping it, definitely not stop losses which incentivise them to drop the prices to pick up bargins which we can make use of!

There is no doubt in my mind that the potential upside potential is possible to meet every one of my targets at some point over the next 10 years if VRFB becomes as big a solution to energy storage as we are predicting.

Bushveld Minerals and Bushveld Energy are the pioneers of a fully integrated mining and power storage projects. They have the resource, they have the knowledge, they have the drive and the business acumen to deliver for all investors. But, most of all they have a market right on their doorstep in a continent that has the biggest need.

So with the potential ahead and the short term news items will bring:

Joint listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange will bring many new high net worth investors
The Mokopane Licence which has the potential for multiple offtake agreements

Bushveld Energy updates and news on the construction commencement of the East London plant for electrolyte for production of 1000 MWh, using 5000 mtV, ready for new VRFB assembly. The income value for this will surprise many investors once it is realised!
So we can hold our heads high and investor at these ridiculously low prices with some confidence. The world may be looking down, but in every down cycle there are winners and usually, this is in major infrastructure projects. Given the pressure on reducing carbon emissions, renewable power projects with safe, reliable and dependable energy storage are going to be the prime movers and give many of the small as well as the large economies the answers.
Do your own research, carefully, and you will see how this can add up to make BMN a very good investment.

Tesla fire sparks concerns for supercharger station

A Tesla Model S caught fire and burned to its shell while plugged in at Tesla’s Supercharger Station in Antwerp, Belgium.
Local news reports “The driver of the car had parked it at a so-called ‘Supercharger’, a fast charging station, at the Novotel at Luithagen-Haven. When he returned a little later, his Tesla and the supercharger were lit up. Possibly there was a technical problem before charging.”
To ensure the fire doesn’t reignite, an issue with electric car fires, Antwerp’s fire department submerged the car into a pool of water.
While rare, a Model S also caught fire in 2016 while charging in Norway.
The fire serves to highlight the risk with lithium batteries and thermal runaway. Tesla report the cause of the fire was a short-circuit in the car, and while the source remains unclear, it has nonetheless pushed a software update to its fleet to “provide extra security during charging”.
Report suggest at least 4 models have caught fire in the last two months. In balance, thousands of ICE vehicles have caught fire during the same period.

Definitely SOTRR, hence my point about the greenfield Mokopane site around 2023. This may well give us up to 14,000 to 15,000 mtV capacity, with possibly 10,000 mtV being used for electrolyte and chemical applications. The income stream from that 10,000 mtV for VRFB has the potential to earn much more than the 5000 mtV for the steel sector over 20 years through the leasing business.

Currently, 5% of global vanadium (around 4000 to 5000 mtV) output is heading to VRFB but by 2023 based on conservative estimates this is supposed to be 8745 mtV based on 15% year on year increases. But that figure looks very low as this only equates to 1750 MWh of electrolyte. That is only just over two Dalian sized plants per year?

But that structural deficit is surely going to be around as far as we can see.

With respect to VRFB projects, we are all seeing the interest and the number of projects being announced around the world.

When we consider that for every 200MWh of VRFB we need 1000 mtV the demand globally is easy to add up. With Bushveld Energy targeting 200MWh in 2020 that is already 1000 mtV. But given the EL plant is expected to quickly ramp up to 1000MWh that is 5000 mtV so we will need Vanchem and Vametco up to circa 8000 mtV just to keep our current steel clients happy and our own manufacturing of Electrolyte. So long term it is easy to see why 10,000 mtV in the medium term is the target. If VRFB really to take the stationary Energy Storage market by storm then we will need a lot more capacity going forward. Hence the need for the greenfield plant at Mokopane in 2022/23.

It easy to see how the potential of what Fortune and Mikhail have laid out as plans can easily play out and the expansion beyond this is there too. The resource total from Vametco, Brits, and Mokopane as it stands is huge. But we should not forget that the Bushveld Complex has more vanadium in the ground than these 3 sites. They could easily buy more land and get more rights as the years' progress and if demand increases this will be an option - this has never been discussed here as circa 7 million tonnes of vanadium is a lot! But the market will determine this.

This very short picture in conjunction with the simple fundamental points by BBN ties up to give a great picture of why this investment is so strong!

Yes you are correct Afritin as a huge future. Very low production costs a huge resource and massive upside and a very much in demand product used in electronics and of course renewables. Afritin is a clear growth story with potential well above 10 times its current value. Bushveld hold around 10% of the shares and have loaned them financial assistance.
Over 3 years this will payback substantial returns to Bushveld Minerals as well as individual investors.

So in 2019 so far:
- Bushveld Energy has confirmed the VRFB installation has successfully been installed and is running at Eskom's test facility
- Bushveld Energy will commence the construction of there electrolyte facility in East London which will be operationally ready in Q2020
- Bushveld Minerals have started the full acquisition of the Vanchem vanadium processing plant ready to take ore from Mokopane - the largest known high-grade vanadium asset on the planet with capacity up to 4200 mtV per annum
- Bushveld Vametco has improved its operational efficiencies which have given a record production run rate in March
- Bushveld Vametco has completed a detailed resource study which has concluded the actual resource level in the mine is more than double what they originally thought when they purchased it in 2017.
- Bushveld Minerals reports sales of $192 million and a net profit of $49 million
- Bushveld Minerals are in the strongest position to supply the African Market with Vanadium Electrolyte in 2020 and VRFB from their vertically integrated business which will add significantly to the profits in 2020.
- The Global Vanadium market remains in deficit and prices are likely to become much stronger as 2019 progresses and the currently limited reserves disappear.
- The world leaders are under much pressure to reduce and even eliminate carbon emissions and to make renewables work the energy storage market will become a mega business. Bushveld Minerals will be ready to make a significant contribution to aid this, as the story unfolds providing Vanadium Electrolyte and assembly of VRFB's in South Africa.
- Every day there are new stories of large scale energy storage projects using Flow Battery Technology - and Vanadium is the key element in the electrolyte, this story is going to dominate the renewables sector and our position is very strong indeed.

This last week has shown that there is definitely much more interest in buying BMN shares and the vanadium pricing seems to have bottomed out and if we have just a sniff of more urgent buying in the vanadium requiring industries we could see some real pressure on the pricing again which will help increase our profits in 2019.

Bushveld Minerals remains a compelling investment for any investor and the next 3 to 5 years are likely to see a very strong uplift in stock price from here. The Board of Directors under the control of Fortune and Mikhail who are on the top of there game, and are highly ambitious for success and become the most important player in the vanadium industry. They have already created the foundation for a mega miner, processor, and energy storage company in South Africa.

I am sorry I have been away from the board for some time as my good lady is going through a very tough time with her treatment but today is her last radiotherapy and chemo treatment, so things will hopefully get a lot better!

I am very encouraged to see the progress forward in the stock price again and momentum building in global vanadium pricing as the market starts buying again.

There is no doubt, that Bushveld Minerals are really powering forward, we have achieved so many of the companies goals set out for 2019.

- business optimization at Vametco with the team highly motivated and achieving record production levels
- 2018 accounts published reflecting the full picture of achievements and the pathway set out
- Our second brownfield acquisition announced (Vanchem) and fully in progress for completed purchase which has the potential to take the ore from Mokopane when this is confirmed soon - 4200 mtV output to add to the output from Vametco.
- Bushveld Energy has completed the VRFB commissioning and testing at Eskom, a confirmed installation to be installed at the Vametco Mine which will present a clear picture to other industries in South Africa the long term energy cost savings which can be achieved through investment as well as energy security.
- South Africa is building a new foundation to make the country turn the corner and make the most of its valuable resources as well as renewable energy opportunity to which Bushveld Minerals are set to be a key part of this story.

I am really looking forward to the next news from Bushveld Energy on the progress with the East London Electrolyte project and other news which will lift the momentum further.

There is no doubt that 2019 will be pivotal to our future and many investors confidence in this incredible business!

A couple of important points before I make my point to you. Pdub is a long term holder with more knowledge than most posters here. There are some incredibly experienced people on this board with huge knowledge of the vanadium market, vanadium redox flow Batteries, mining, operational management, project management, investment strategies and market information.
Many post regularly and are invested with small to some very large holdings. The posters on here, some regular posters and some mainly silent hold around 30 to 40% of the total shares in circulation based on our collated figures from earlier this year.
Occasionally this board gets visits from posters who seem to get pleasure in winding up long term holders. They normally turn up on down days with “I told you so T shirts” bragging about there ‘superior knowledge’, usually statically opportunistic! 1onic is on such character based on his posting history - as observed you all long term posters on this board. You will see what I mean as many here will endorse this point.
Quality posters with huge knowledge are, Alfacomp, Bigbytenow, Ophidian, Pdub, Nickderby, Paludina, Loudspeaker, Sanchez599, Onefcc, Gambitxjs and several more too. Why do I say this as I think it is Worthing looking at the posts from these guys.
But, I would spend some time watching the interviews on YouTube from our CEO Fortune Mojapelo. This will give you much insight.

I don't think in terms of news this week could have been any stronger.

One of the most important from me was the Vametco resource update. If this was a new mine and resource found it would have been globally significant. It is for me that good. I am sure those with mineral and mining experience would agree with that point.

Excellent 2018 results give the world the opportunity to see the progress that Bushveld Minerals have made and are making. The key is there is much more pointing to the future than there is just looking back over one year's accounts and a great profit. This companies fundamentals have never ever been stronger and they are getting stronger.
So the future looks even stronger for me than before.

There is no doubt that the vanadium prices will turn and rise again. How high is not really a concern unless they get to high which will slow down the opportunity for VRFB in the short term. But right now the path is set for multiple opportunities for Bushveld Energy in South Africa and the further a field.

There is on his board much talk of short term share price movements and of course much money can be made and lost in buying and selling at the right times. But for inexperienced investors, the fundamentals here are very strong and the share price trend year on year will only go one way. We have a dividend policy which will reward investors too which makes an even more compelling case long term.

There is no doubt that in SA there is much interest to invest in this business and once the JSE joint listing comes there will be significant new money invested here.

So with those points in mind, we look forward to the next steps in the company and the future expansion and opportunities.

There is one very good reason why the vanadium price cannot keep falling.

There gets a point when the lowest cost producer will not sell any more as they will be making a loss.

Largo will be very close to that point and they have the largest supply outside China and which they supply to Glencore
Glencore in the end will need to make money selling and producing at there plant Rhovan will need to sell at profit too.

So the price direction will have to change.

Also, there will be very little left and the supply chain will not be able to deliver. The price must go up.
