Jindal Pelletising LLC (often referred to as Vulcan Pelletizing LLC) is a 6 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) iron ore pellet plant under development at Sohar Port, Oman. A subsidiary of Jindal Shadeed Iron & Steel (JSIS), the facility is designed to supply raw materials for Jindal's local steel operations, with commissioning aimed for 2025/2026.

Sohar Port and Freezone, Oman, situated on the premises of Jindal Shadeed Iron & Steel (JSIS).
Capacity:
6 million tonnes per annum (MTPA).
Purpose:
To produce high-grade iron ore pellets for the direct reduced iron (DRI) plant at JSIS, reducing dependence on imported, third-party pellets.
Technology:
Uses a traveling grate-rotary kiln-annular cooler system supplied by Metso Outotec.
Status:
While earlier reports suggested a 2024 start, recent updates indicate it is in final development stages as of late 2025, and is actively involved in raw material sourcing (such as manganese ore) for its operations.
Affiliation:
Operates within the Vulcan International Holding Company, under the umbrella of Jindal Shadeed.
The plant is considered a major addition to the Middle East's steel industry, enhancing the vertical integration of the Jindal Group's operations in the region.
