Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I wouldn't usually celebrate anyone's 'loss' -around 10k from selling 20m at 11 vs current price plus loss crystallised at the time too but, unfortunately , sheldrake has demonstrated (bitterness? self justification? regret? - who knows...) a desire to see sres fail and fellow investors to lose money. Any pretence that he is trying to protect us from ourselves is laughable.. it is frankly unpleasant to watch and whilst I do feel some pity and we have all made investing mistakes.. it is time for sheldake to move on (not for us - for himself)..get a life.
Don't think anyone actually believes you sold at 14 sheldrake? The mid was 12 when you dumped your '18 million' ...
Well worth the small raise I feel to ensure we are not bounced into accepting a cut down payout from congo...perhaps a wee top up opportunity in the morning?
27 Yr mine life comeonsres.. (and prob understated for permitting reasons)...
And, of course, it wouldn't be us paying for the link - it would be the railroad company....
Yes, rail transport obviously won't be there from day 1 but still plenty of free cashflow using road transport initially and as Pozz production is ramped up to 500k tonnes per year then, with a 27 yr project life, in simplistic (very simplistic lol!) terms say 20 years production (pozz only) is 10 million tonnes so $2 per tonne only required to recoup cost of rail link..
Found it..
2021 Nevada State Rail plan - we (sr minerals - our local subsidiary)
are referred to by name - see 4-84 https://www.dot.nv.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/19780/637635847516530000
Someone a while ago (maybe 12-18 months?) unearthed a plan by the local railroad to build a spur in the direction of the CS Project if I remember.. anyone else remember / can dig out the details?
Probably an oversight I suspect but it may be that some are held as collateral by Stephen?
Umm things do seem to point to calportland as an obvious interested party. Another piece of the jigsaw perhaps - the new Hazen Pozzolan project is not far from calportland's Sparks Cemnt Terminal..
Looks as though someone is patiently adding, waiting while the remaining placing shares are salted in, then adding again.. Placing shares won't be there to keep the price down for long. Big question then is whether our purchaser will stop or carry on. Carry on and we'll see a significant jump in price even in the absence of news I think..
Interesting - the link also details a new Advancent T (ternary) product which mixes cement, natural pozzalan and limestone to achieve even greater co2 reductions. Umm don't we have high quality limestone project in nevada too.... now that would be a bolt out of the blue!
Thanks for the links Claire - Not sure whether you picked up this ..https://advancement.calportland.com/
Advancement NP ( natural pzzalan) 'coming soon' wonder where they are going to source their material from :)
Bit difficult for Patrick unfortunately.. If he comes back and says 'discussions intensifying with three potential partners' (for example) .. the pint half-full people will say we are nearly there (two parties whiitled down by us) and the pint half empty lot will be doom and gloom about the two other parties (lost interest) - meaningless either way I'm afraid.. What is clear, however, is the closer the potential payment for the sepiolite project is, the stronger the negotiation position we are in. I'm in no rush..
Compelling new presentation. We'll worth a look for belivers (and non believers - not too late to get in lol!) As if Congo and Elephant Oil and Juno Royalty weren't enough - I feel this might just be RRR's moment...
Yes, crazy thing - shedrake could have bought back in at 1019 after the little placing (I topped up :) ) Does he want even lower? Does he know there would have to be a share consolidation before shares issued below .10? (Not going to happen..)
Umm - not sure that's fair. As previously stated our Nomad will have had to arrange for translation of complex legal documents prior to sanctioning release of an RNS. It could also be argued that until any agreed monies are received - then a material price sensitive event has not occurred - bit of a grey area I feel. If, as we all (well most of us!) hope a payment has been agreed then we should expect a delay whilst parties arrange to make funds available and once they have we can't expect 'faster payments' type timescales for payments from DRC.. That said time is running out for this theory - should see something soon one way or the other...
I certainly agree that any deal involving staged payments would not be well received - there would be a lack of faith in the payments actually taking place. We really need to see a big lump of cash in RRR's account... I am, however, intrigued by Andrew's twitter comments about resolving the issue 'once and for all'. That could, I guess, mean full payment of our $12m or so. Could it not also involve the unwinding of the sale transaction altogether leaving us to negotiate directly with Glencore? Now that could be transformational ( although probably not the 'jam now' people want...
Puts SRES in a stronger negotiating position with potential partners and or off takers if we are sitting on some cash.. prudent small cash raise..
Quite possibly will be a small raise soon.. not sure I'd risk trying to be clever and selling with a view to get back in cheaper though - a small raise might even be greeted by a rise in sp with uncertainty out of the way and who knows what other news Patrick might spring before any such raise (off take agreements perhaps) And, of course, there could be a buy in from one of the interested parties negating the need for the foreseeable. Would be amusing to see the scramble to get back in :)
